A-Kill was a competitor robot from Series 6 of Robot Wars. It was based on the middleweight version of A-Kill which competed in the middleweight competition in Series 3. It featured a large arsenal of weapons, all very weak. It had a hammer that the team claimed could crush a strawberry, a lifter that the team claimed could lift a skin off a rice pudding and a spinning disc described as looking like two dustbin lids stuck together, none of which cost more than £10 - supposedly, the most expensive part of the robot was the paint. It was a 2mm plate steel box, that managed to avoid huge damage in its first battle, but lost in a boring second round battle to Panic Attack.
The driver, Gordon Johncock, only ended up as the driver for A-Kill because Chris Delph had posted an advert in the newspaper that read 'Assistant Wanted for Robot Wars, Do you want to be a driver?'. Chris was after someone outside of Robot Wars to have a go at being a member of the team. A number of people applied for the position but apparently Gordon was the only applicant to not feel on edge for being requested to drive the robot in the series.
The team also attended the qualifiers for the Sixth Wars with Saw Point, which was entered in the second series of Extreme and the Seventh Wars.

Series 6
In its first battle, A-Kill was drawn against subsequent Grand Finalist Terrorhurtz, as well as Sabretooth and Reptirron The Second. A-Kill bravely spent most of its battle attacking Terrorhurtz with its spinning disc, though this was largely ineffective. Terrorhurtz immobilised Sabretooth and Reptirron The Second, allowing A-Kill to progress to the second round.

Panic Attack lifts A-Kill.
In the second round, A-Kill was drawn to battle the 8th seed, Panic Attack. A-Kill went on the attack at first, managing to hit Panic Attack's lifting forks with its disc, but causing little damage. Panic Attack was too low for A-Kill to attack effectively, and A-Kill had a high ground clearance of its own that Panic Attack exploited throughout the match. A-Kill used its hammer to attack, but caused no damage, leading to Jonathan Pearce to mock it.

A-Kill's spinning disc locked up as Panic Attack lifted it. Panic Attack eventually brought A-Kill towards the pit, where A-Kill clung on to the edge, but Panic Attack pitted A-Kill with another slam, eliminating it from the Sixth Wars.
