A-Kill was a middleweight robot that entered two side events in Series 3 of Robot Wars. It was an army green coloured box-shaped robot with two large outer wheels and actuated serrated spikes on the front and the back powered by car seat motors. A-Kill entered the Series 3 Middleweight Championship, but it was later cancelled due to an accident in the pits. However, the robot did compete in the Middleweight Melee, which was an exhibition battle to replace the cancelled championship, finishing as joint winner with Tentoumushi. The two robots also met in a side battle during the International League Championship, with Tentoumushi coming out on top. The team later entered Series 6 with a heavyweight version of A-Kill, and afterwards, the team entered Series 7 and Extreme 2 with Saw Point.

Following the cancellation of the Middleweight Championship, A-Kill fought in the Middleweight Melee, facing Ripper's Revenge, Grinder, American competitor Tentoumushi, and reigning middleweight champion Hard Cheese.
For the middleweight melee, A-Kill was up against Ripper's Revenge, Grinder, Tentoumushi, and the reigning middleweight champion Hard Cheese. A-Kill moved off rather sluggishly in the Middleweight Melee. It rounded an attack up on Hard Cheese, just as Tentoumushi covered Hard Cheese up. A-Kill backed away and drove off towards Grinder. It then pushed the immobile Grinder into Shunt who axed Grinder's top. A-Kill then remained out of the action as Hard Cheese was skewered by Sir Killalot. A-Kill then pushed Ripper's Revenge, but got caught up with Tentoumushi, as Sir Killalot pushed the latter away and Ripper's Revenge was flipped by the arena spike. The match ended and the judges decided that Tentoumushi and A-Kill were the joint winners of the Middleweight Melee.

Sir Killalot pushed it, Grinder and Ripper's Revenge back, causing the latter to be flipped over by the spike, and stayed out of the remaining action before Tentoumushi nudged it and Dead Metal caught it in his pincers. Both it and Tentoumushi survived to the end, however, and were declared joint winners of the Middleweight Melee.

Representing England, A-Kill also fought Tentoumushi in the War of Independence, a side battle held during the International League Championship.
The two joint winners also met in the International League Championship's War of Independence battle. A-Kill replaced Hard Cheese in this battle as the producers thought the fight would be fairer if Tentoumushi fought a smaller robot (Tentoumushi was a lightweight). Although it is often billed as a grudge match, the War of Independence fight was actually filmed before the Middleweight Melee, despite being broadcast afterwards. A-Kill was immediately covered up by Tentoumushi and was pushed straight towards the pit, but A-Kill was able to escape Tentomushi's clutches. But A-Kill then drove towards the pit and got stuck, which meant that Tentoumushi was able to simply push it into the pit of oblivion to win for the United States of America.

It was chosen to replace Hard Cheese, as the producers wanted a fairer draw against Tentoumushi, which was technically a lightweight competitor. Tentoumushi lowered its shell as A-Kill pushed it round in circles, before both robots separated close to the pit. Again, both robots came together, with A-Kill getting caught under Tentoumushi's shell as it tried to ram the American representative twice. However, A-Kill then drove and spun towards the pit, getting its bottom castor stuck on the edge, allowing Tentoumushi to push it fully in and win the War of Independence for the USA.

— Chris Delph on the weaponry

A-Kill was a middleweight robot that competed in two side events during Series 3 of Robot Wars. It was initially entered into that series' Middleweight Championship, but the championship was cancelled due to a behind-the-scenes accident in The Pits, so it fought in the Middleweight Melee exhibition match, where it finished as joint winner with Tentoumushi. It also later fought Tentoumushi in the War of Independence, a side battle held during the International League Championship, but lost after being pushed into the pit.

— Jonathan Pearce describes A-Kill

A-Kill was a two-wheeled box-shaped robot made out of a homemade model tank, powered by wheelchair motors and armed with sets of front and rear serrated spikes intended to ram, lift and crush opponents. It cost £200 to build, and was painted green with small Union Jacks and the robot's name on its sides and top armour.

Tentoumushi and A-Kill lock together in the War of Independence

It was chosen to replace Hard Cheese, as the producers wanted a fairer draw against Tentoumushi, which was technically a lightweight competitor. While the battle was filmed before the Middleweight Melee, it was billed as a grudge match, and A-Kill started by approaching Tentoumushi as it raised its smothering shell and caught it between its chassis.
