Anorakaphobia was a one-time competitor in the third season of Robot Wars. It was a very fast robot, one of the fastest in the wars. It was a long, curved, black and yellow wedge, with a hammer as its weapon, and with two chainsaw chains that travelled alongside the weapon, meant for entangling opponents and dragging them up and over its body. This unique design got it a nomination for Best Design, but it missed out to Razer.
Anrakaphobia also attempted to qualify for Series 4, but lost to Dantomkia 1.0 after a long and boring battle, which ultimately resulted in neither robot qualifing (despite the latter having a second, more interesting qualifier later).
Robot History
Series 3
Anorakaphobia drove up Miss Ile's scoop, pushing it onto the flame pit. Anorakophobia started to use its extremely speedy hammer, and Miss Ile lost its other eye. Anorakaphobia pushed Miss Ile and used its hammer, before pushing it into the pit. In the second round, both robots had a slow start, with Anorakaphobia carefully avoiding The Big Cheese's lifting arm - The Big Cheese could not get under Anorakaphobia. Eventually Anorakaphobia got trapped between The Big Cheese's arm and wedge, and was put in the pit.
