- "We are becoming veterans to Robotwars, as we have been in both series 2 and 3, and we will hopefully be in series 4 too with our new entry "Cannibal.""
- — Cannibal website
Cannibal was a robot that attempted to enter Series 4 of Robot Wars. Built by the same team that entered previous series with Havoc and Undertaker, it failed to qualify for that series after losing its qualifier to Bulldog Breed 2. The team that entered Cannibal would not enter any later series.
Design[edit | edit source]
- "Cannibal has been designed by an 11 year old boy, called Scot, from All Saints Primary, in Clayton Le Moors, Lancashire, and we are going to try to bring it to life over the coming weeks."
- — Cannibal website
Cannibal's design was based on a drawing from an eleven-year old pupil of All Saints Primary school, Clayton Le Moors, Lancashire. The drawing depicts the robot as wedge-shaped with a purple and green colour scheme and two large yellow and black eyes on the top of the wedge. It is unknown what weapons Cannibal was equipped with, although the drawing suggests it having horizontal claws and spikes at the front.
Qualification[edit | edit source]
- — The Bulldog Breed website gives a blunt description on the outcome of Bulldog Breed 2's battle with Cannibal and The Bat
Cannibal faced Bulldog Breed 2 and The Bat in its Series 4 qualifier. Evidence from the Bulldog Breed website suggests that the battle was one-sided, with the website claiming that Bulldog Breed 2 had "trashed" both opponents. Cannibal did not receive a discretionary place as a result, failing to qualify for the Fourth Wars.
