Does Warhog actually count as it was originally called Tazzz?--Nononsensecapeesh (talk) 22:58, November 21, 2014 (UTC)

I'm going with no, we don't know how if they kept that name for a significant time. RA2; aka Resetti's Replicas. (My Talk) 21:58, November 22, 2014 (UTC)
I agree, as we should only count those that actually appeared on the show with a name based on Film or Television, otherwise we could end up getting into a lot of arguments about whether or not to include robots who had working titles only based on film/TV, such as Toe Cutter (Originally known as Blade Runner). I'll remove War Hog from this category. Drop Zone mk2 (talk) 12:38, November 23, 2014 (UTC)

Robots with names from fictionEdit

For a while, I've been thinking that this category should be renamed as "Robots with names from fiction". There are a two main reasons for this;

  1. ) A lot of the robots namesakes were book/video game/comic characters before they were film/television characters, such as Shear Khan and Kliptonite.
  2. ) With the new name, we can include robots with names from plays (Caliban) and books (Das Gepäck).

I agree with this.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 19:37, June 3, 2018 (UTC)
"Robots with names based on fictional works" is probably more apt, even if it is longer. Jimlaad43(talk) 20:01, June 3, 2018 (UTC)
