Cayenne was a robot that failed to qualify for Series 7 of Robot Wars. The robot was named for the Porsche car make. The robot was a polycarbonate box shaped chassis with four wheels and its weapons were horizontal jaws powered by a linear actuator and a set of four spikes at the back of the machine. Each corner of Cayenne had three wheels bolted together with screws drilled into the tyres, possibly to aid in gaining traction on the arena floor. Cayenne faced several problems when it arrived at the Robot Wars studio, such as the speed controller failing, and issues with its wheels on the right side of the machine as they occasionally started turning in opposite directions.

These problems were fixed by the time the qualifier battle began, and Cayenne went up against DisConstructor for a chance to fight in the main competition of the Seventh Wars. Cayenne lost the fight after suffering from a mechanical failure and breaking down, although one of the judges asked if it could be repaired, allowing the possibility for a discretionary place. However, the team found that the damage inflicted by Disconstructor was too severe to repair the machine in a short amount of time, and Cayenne was rejected from the main competition.

In the qualifier battle itself Cayenne tried to ram Disconstructor using its spikes, but missed. Cayenne went into the centre of the arena to build up for another attack, but stopped moving completely. Disconstructor hit Cayenne and destroyed its message board, before its disc caused the jaws to bend into the frame of Cayenne. Cease was called, and Disconstructor advanced through to Series 7.
