Comengetorix was a box-shaped wedge robot that competed in numerous series of Robot Wars, but didn't progress very far. It looked a lot like seasoned competitor Mortis. Its armour was made from aluminium with titanium top panels.

Robot History

Series 6

Extreme Series 1

Vercingetorix

Vercingetorix was the team's original entry, named after a Roman Gaul. It was originally a box shaped robot with a slight wedge, but then changed to a more conventional box-wedged shape, much like Comengetorix. It was originally equipped with a front forklift with side rams, but then changed to an axe and lifting arm, much the same as Mortis. Its armour was kevlar and lexan, and also like Mortis used tracks to get around.

Series 2

Vercingetorix progressed steadily through the heats, making 5.1m in the Gauntlet and surviving Dead Metal in the Sumo, eventually coming up against Haardvark in the Arena Semi-Final, where it suffered a mechanical problem and was pitted by Sir Killalot.

Series 3

In Round 1 of its heat, it started a cautious sparring match against Terrorpin, as they both tried to push each other into the CPZs. Eventually, Terrorpin shoved Vercingetorix into the pit.
