Dead Metal in Robot Wars: Advanced Destruction

Dead Metal was a house robot designed to resemble a scorpion, armed with a pair of clamping jaws and a circular saw. Dead Metal appears in Robot Wars: Advanced Destruction in addition to the other four Robot Wars video games.

Appearance and Armament Edit

Dead Metal and the other four House Robots made their third video game appearance during this game. Dead Metal and the other robots look a lot more detailed than in the last game for handheld consoles, Robot Wars: Metal Mayhem. Dead Metal has undergone a total transformation from its first handheld appearance, in that it is now the right colour, and the robot is far more true to its real life appearance, although the jaws are the wrong shape, and the saw is too small. This game is based around Robot Wars: The Fourth Wars, so Dead Metal had no major improvements from the Third Wars, the setting for Metal Mayhem, but nevertheless the transformation is total.

Sergeant Bash is this time positioned in the top-left CPZ, a change from Metal Mayhem, where he was stationed in the bottom-right. Like the previous handheld game, the House Robots turn to face other robots as they pass them.

Differences between the Game and Real LifeEdit

  • The jaws are the wrong shape.
  • The saw is too small.
  • Dead Metal is more rounded than real life.
  • The robot appears to have a solid shell, instead of an exoskeleton.
