Dead Metal is a lot more detailed than his previous video game appearence, and he is no longer pink. It is clear in this game that Dead Metal is depicted as his later incarnation, from [[Robot Wars: The Third Wars]] onwards. Unfortunately in this game, Dead Metal's 'head' assembly does not slide forward, with the saw simply spinning where it it. However his pincers do function like his real-life counterpart's, to grab hold of robots. His pincers no longer continually open and close during battles, only coming into use when he attacks a competitor robot. His method of attack is to activate both the pincers and the saw at the same time. It is unclear as to wether the saw is able to damage other robots, from where it is positioned. He no longer turns to face robots as they pass his CPZ, as in the previous game.

Dead Metal was a House Robot designed to resemble a scorpion. He was armed with a set of pneumatic pincers and a 3000 rpm circular saw, mounted on his 'head'. His method of attack was to first grab hold of a robot, then the 'head' assembly would slide forward, with the circular saw cutting into the robot. Notably though, the 'head' assembly could slide forward in only one of the Robot Wars games that Dead Metal appeared in. In all others, the head would be stationary, the saw simply spinning where it was. Dead Metal appeared in all five of the Robot Wars video games.

Appearance and Armament

Dead Metal and the other four House Robots made their second video game appearance during this game. The game is based on Robot Wars: The Fourth Wars, and Dead Metal's appearence was unchanged from the major overhaul he had had the previous series.
