- "Hello and welcome. That's about all we've got to say right now, so err.. yeah, well yes. This is the page for DDWAIN, Which... err... is a robot, yeah, that's right.... We're based in Aberdare, South Wales, (hey, no sheep jokes), and, as soon as we're finished, we're hoping to apply to go on the UK RobotWars TV show."

Death & Destruction Without An Interesting Name, often abbreviated to DDWAIN their website, was a robot that attempted to enter Series 4 of Robot Wars. It is currently unknown whether the team attempted to qualify for any other series.
Design[]
Little is known about DDWAIN's design as photos on the team's website have unfortunately not been archived, however it is known that the robot's chassis was constructed from tubular steel and it was armoured in an unspecified sheet metal.
DDWAIN sported a circular saw as well as a hydraulic arm, which could operate as a crusher and lifter according to the team's website. While DDWAIN never had the chance to prove this, the team also claimed their multipurpose weapon would be able to lift Sir Killalot.[1]
The team wrote a wish list of weapons to include on the robot, such as an axe and flipper[2], though it is uncertain whether they actually pursued any of these options before settling for a hydraulic arm and saw combination.

Trivia[]
- With a total of 47 characters, Death & Destruction Without An Interesting Name is by far the longest name for a robot that tried to enter Robot Wars, with only some acronyms exceeding this, such as T.R.A.C.I.E. being fully named 'Terrestrial Robotic Artificial Computerised Intelligent Engine'.
- Death & Destruction Without An Interesting Name is one of only two known teams to come from the Welsh county of Rhondda Cyon Taf, the other being Lateral Thought.
