Votes for Typhoon 2
  1. Hullo, SpaceManiac888 here. I am currently going to be updating these pages as an IP at my university, because I am waiting for internet access at my new house. Anyhow, I feel Typhoon 2 would take out Diotoir in much the same way I assumed Corkscrew would; that is, dodge the narrow disc and attack the wheelguards, which should eventually break off. After that, Typhoon 2 can simply hit one of the wheels, tearing it to shreds and causing Jonathan Pearce to say his now famous statement. 139.222.6.213 10:19, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
  2. Typhoon 2 was always good at evading opponents at the start, and then hitting them in the right place. Even when its weapon failed it stayed out of the way long enough for Bigger Brother to finish the others off. If the weapons collide, Typhoon will have got up to speed by then, and won't be turned over. But the weapons won't collide, because Typhoon will have gone around the back of Diotoir and ripped a wheel or two off by then. Jimlaad43(talk) 12:01, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
  3. OK, I can just about buy the argument for Diotoir beating the somewhat top heavy and unstable Corkscrew, but Typhoon 2 has neither of those faults. I say Typhoon 2 wins this reasonably comfortably. Hogwild94 (talk) 17:41, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
  4. I deeply regret my Meggamouse vote last round, I wasn't confident and well I must admit I really should have changed it! Here though, though I don't think the spinner is as damaging to modern robots, I did argue that Corkscrew could damage the weapon belt and the exposed tires at the back, so... (Of course regardless of result, I already know who I'm voting for in the final).Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 18:12, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
  5. I have doubts that Diotoir will be able to withstand Typhoon for the duration of the match and while it might deal a BIT of damage, I feel Typhoon will inevitably KO it. BizarroKing (talk) 21:53, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
Votes for Diotoir
  1. This really isn't clear cut, it's yet another contentious Diotoir fight. Typhoon 2 boasts the greater reliability, range of attack, and better protection for its wheels. Three solid points, and potentially enough for a victory. Diotoir boasts three of its own; greater weapon power, greater armour, and the ability to run inverted. Given that Diotoir also has a weapon capable of flipping Typhoon 2 over, I think that's a stronger deck of cards, and I'll gamble on Diotoir. As a side note Space, I logged into my wiki account at university all the time and never had any privacy issues, I recommend you do the same. TOAST 11:05, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
  2. Typhoon 2 was expertly driven, but the reboot arena doesn't allow for those long vertical drives that Gary Cairns carried out back in the day. Against another spinner and with less random to move in straight lines, I think Diotoir will catch it out and take advantage. NJGW (talk) 19:11, September 12, 2018 (UTC)

Votes for Big Nipper
  1. Well, Barber-Ous 2'n a Bit has had an almost perfect run, with everyone except Jimlaad believing that it deserved to reach this stage (Why Jimlaad, why? :P). Alas, even I must now vote against it, as although Big Nipper is probably the only machine at this stage it could beat, I think the Series 10 machine is durable enough to withstand the blows from the demon barber. After all, if it could survive a blow from Matilda and remain active while being on fire, I think Big Nipper will be capable of tanking the blows. Then, there is the matter of Big Nipper being an excellent control bot, who will probably tackle Barber-Ous 2'n a Bit's weakness of low pushing power to its advantage, ultimately (of course) pitting its opponent. Regardless of who wins or loses, Barber-Ous 2'n a Bit is going to have a PAINFUL last battle in this tournament. But who will it face? 139.222.6.213 10:19, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
On another note, a correlation that all the robots Barber-Ous 2'n a Bit has beaten in this tournament share is that they are all flippers. It makes me wonder, is the demon barber one of the best robots in tackling certain flippers? I mean, classic era machines like Bigger Brother, Gravity and Series 7 Spawn Again would be too much for it, but Dantomkia, Thermidor 2... and even Firestorm 5 I think would lose to it. 139.222.6.213 10:19, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
  2. Big Nipper has had a curious run. From the moment it was bolded, I would've put money on it reaching the Grand Final, but it had a few near-escapes in its heat, almost losing to Gravity where, indeed, I turned against it. Nuts 2 also worried it in the Heat Final, but since then, it's been plain sailing on a unanimous crusade to the Top 2. Not such a bad thing when this would've been Nuts 2 anyway, had that fought Gravity in the Heat Final, but certainly Barber-Ous II'n a Bit puts up no opposition here. TOAST 11:05, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
  3. If you'd have read my reasons for voting against Barber-Ous, you'd know why I voted against it xD. Anyway, Big Nipper won't be taking much damage from Barber-Ous here at all, and the claws can be used around the side to grab hold of the wheels. Big Nipper is also going to outlast Barber-Ous anyway, as it is so perceptible to being knocked out with a big hit, even one it causes. A good hit on Big Nipper could catapult away the silver bot and KO Barber-Ous, leaving BN to come back and pit it. Jimlaad43(talk) 12:04, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
  4. Well this is an easy decision, can't really say anything that hasn't bee said. Interesting final though! (Depending on who wins the other match) Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 18:05, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
  5. Yeah, Big Nipper is solid enough to withstand Barber-Ous long enough for something to go wrong and it to stop working. Hogwild94 (talk) 17:43, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
  6. Oh, this is a shame of an ending for Barber-Ous, but it's sadly inevitable. NJGW (talk) 19:11, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
  7. I love you Barber-Ous but I feel as though Big Nipper will grip and pit. BizarroKing (talk) 21:53, September 12, 2018 (UTC)
