#Now, Bulldog Breed was not actually the robot I was thinking would beat Typhoon 2 in this heat; it was actually The Swarm! Nonetheless, the more I think about it, the more I actually believe that Bulldog Breed can genuinely achieve the upset. To understand my vote, I will reference several battles both opponents have been in. Let's take a look at Bulldog Breed first; when it comes to facing spinners, from uncompetitive opponents like Spin Doctor, to nightmares such as Hypno-Disc, it immediately charges in and attempts to flip its opponent, almost always succeeding. This is extremely important when facing Typhoon 2, because a flipper needs to disrupt Typhoon 2's rythmn before going in for the kill, which I can see Bulldog Breed achieving. Another reason for this is because of Bulldog Breed's wedge; notably, when compared to other flippers like Iron-Awe 2.1 and Thermidor 2, Bulldog Breed has a wide wedge and a large flipper. This helps both in terms of defence and offence, seeing as I believe the wedge should be capable of stopping Typhoon 2 in its tracks, similar to how Atomic's massive flipper achieved this. These attributes that Bulldog Breed has may enable it to beat the full-body spinner, by utilising good control and speed to close the gap as early as possible, before using its wedge to prevent Typhoon 2 from reaching its top speed. From there, a flip of doom is possible, providing Bulldog Breed a chance where in most cases a spinner would damage it internally. #Though the Full body spinners that Bulldog Breed faced before were not as powerful or as good as Typhoon it still should be noted how quick the dog rammed them and chucked them over immediately. Typhoon, as do many FBS need to spin up to speed which requires them running away for the first half of a match, Bulldog Breed should be quick and aggressive enough to flip it, this could ether knock it out or hinder the spin up time which would also stop the robot in its track meaning it will need to run away by which point the pooch will attack again.<font color="red">Diotoir</font><font color="black"> the</font><font color="red"> son</font><font color="black"> of</font><font color="red"> nemesis</font> (talk) 19:11, September 2, 2018 (UTC) |

#Nah, Typhoon 2 has beaten better flippers than Bulldog Breed before this. Besides, its main form of attack is to run away at first to get up to speed so that by the time an attack come in, it will be quick enough to just deflect away. Bulldog Breed we know is vulnerable to powerful spinners, I see Typhoon 2, just about, holding out long enough to immobilise it. #Typhoon 2 has this easily. Atomic couldn't flip it over, and Bulldog Breed has twice, TWICE, been comprehensively torn apart by Hypno-Disc, which is not as good or powerful as Typhoon 2. We know Bulldog Breed struggled to kill off robots, and Typhoon 2 is good enough to avoid it while it spins up. + | #Storm 2 couldn't catch Typhoon 2 before it was up to speed, Bulldog Breed won't manage it. That's not even taking into account that Bulldog Breed wasn't actually particularly well controlled, in my opinion, tending to oversteer and actually being relatively ponderous sometimes in lining up flips. And then couple that with how Bulldog Breed also didn't seem to take big impacts well, getting its frame twisted out of shape in a Series 7 heat in which it didn't really take many knocks at all. Typhoon 2 has this fairly comfortably. Combatwombat555 (talk) 21:28, September 2, 2018 (UTC) |

+ | #I'm staggered this is as close as it is, but at the same time I'm not surprised to see votes against Typhoon 2 for a robot like this. Typhoon 2 will not only evade the flipper of Bulldog Breed long enough to get up to speed, but it'll finish this fight after no more than three or four hits I think. The first hit may well damage the front of the flipper and warp it, and from there Typhoon 2 will have all the time in the world. Bulldog Breed lost comfortably to good spinners three times, suffered against Infernal Contraption of all things, and this will be a walkover for the full-body spinner. + | #There are machines - and more specifically flippers - that I would back against Typhoon 2. Bulldog Breed isn't quite one of those. Tony Somerfield is an aggressive driver, yes, but he's a very weak driver as Combatwombat points out. He never protects his sides, he doesn't line up attacks well - he just chucks his titanium square into the opponent and then reacts to the situation if he can. Being reactive as apposed to proactive against a machine like Typhoon 2 isn't going to end well. NJGW (talk) 01:05, September 3, 2018 (UTC) |

#I am actually unsure about this vote. Robochicken in theory is a good robot for taking out Wheely Big Cheese, since as proven against a wide opponent like Tough as Nails, its flipper is capable of exploiting a lumbering opponent. However, there is one issue that prevents me from voting for the Series 7 machine, and that is how it uses its flips. If one re-watches the battles it had against Mega Morg and Tough as Nails, it can be noted that Robochicken tends to waste flips at an alarming rate, either not flipping the opponent at full potential, or worse not achieving a flip at all. While Wheely Big Cheese does have its flaws in terms of control, it can be noted in battles such as Wolverine and Axe-Awe that it often can (and will) punish an opponent for making mistakes like this. As soon as Robochicken wastes a flip, Wheely Big Cheese can come in and throw it over. While Robochicken can self-right (without the head), this uses up more CO2 that it really cannot afford to waste. Even in a three minute battle, I expect Robochicken to run low on CO2, enabling Wheely Big Cheese to win via one more critical flip. And even if Robochicken does survive to the end, the wasted flips, combined with Wheely Big Cheese's more powerful (and damaging) flips, should see it lose on a judges' decision via all accounts. #Truth be told it is quite a shame poor Destructive Criticism was shunted aside but mistakes happen :P Now then, a reliable and consistent flipper would win this unfortunately Robo-Chicken is not that robot. The flipper can flip but it tends to latch open for a while before closing back down, acting more like a lifter if anything. ||
+ | Neither robot succeeded in A Fantasy Audited War 3, as Kan-Opener lost to Scrap-2-Saw in the second round, while Atomic was trashed against Dominator 2 in the opening round. Nonetheless, back in Wikia Series 8, they were the last two machines running in the Annihilator, outlasting Barber-Ous 2'n a Bit, Revolution 2, Derek 2 and Spawn Again on route to the final. Will Kan-Opener defend its title once more? Or will Atomic take it from them? |
||
+ | |||
+ | Before voting, remember to take into account the impacts these two robots would face from Barber-Ous 2'n a Bit, Revolution 2, Derek 2 and Spawn Again. |

+ | #In a normal encounter, I would trust Atomic to win. Yes, I have voted for Kan-Opener to beat Series 5 Atomic (twice), but it was based on the fact that its opponent's armour was flimsy and thus easy to crush. By Series 7, Atomic's armour (and flipper for that matter) was significantly strong, so I would see it surviving the first onslaught before doing its trademark out of the arena on Kan-Opener. However, when it comes to this Annihilator, I do think Atomic would suffer more; in particular, Barber-Ous 2'n a Bit would cause more damage to it than Kan-Opener (who in my opinion would be the one to take out the demon barber, not Spawn Again), while is likely to have been forced to self-right several times against Spawn Again. That said, Atomic should still come out on top, considering that after Barber-Ous 2'n a Bit went out, Revolution 3 and Derek 2 were unlikely to cause much harm to it, allowing the team to repair any damage. All Spawn Again could do to it is reduce its CO2 supply, which can be replenished. Therefore, I trust Atomic to still be relatively in its prime by the Final, allowing it to defeat an otherwise unaffected Kan-Opener. Welcome to the penultimate heat of A Fantasy Audited War 3! Bigger Brother shocked the robot combat community when it failed to qualify for this series, having been champion of A Fantasy Audited War 1. From the Vault: Annihilator Final: Atomic vs Kan-Opener[]
Neither robot succeeded in A Fantasy Audited War 3, as Kan-Opener lost to Scrap-2-Saw in the second round, while Atomic was trashed against Dominator 2 in the opening round.
Before voting, remember to take into account the impacts these two robots would face from Barber-Ous 2'n a Bit, Revolution 2, Derek 2 and Spawn Again.
