#PulverizeR working double duty here. So, I think the new champion has its work cut out, because not only is it facing two awkward opponents, but two awkward opponents that can swarm it. If Tough As Nails attacks Slicer, PulverizeR can just destroy Tough As Nail's vulnerable rear and wheels. If Tough As Nails attacks PulverizeR, Slicer can bounce Tough As Nails away, causing some decent damage to the rear. So, unless Slicer and PulverizeR decide to fight it out first, Tough As Nails is doomed no matter who it faces here. As for the battle of the spinners, PulverizeR feels a bit more secure and unlike Slicer does not need to conserve energy. It will probably secure a knockout or at the very least a victory via the Jury. + | #These are still two robots that are certainly well shaped to be pitted. PulverizeR wil really struggle to deal with TAN if it gets in the claws, and I don't see TAN being vulnerable to Slicer's spinner one bit. The wheels of TAN will be fine, and as it can't be outpushed, it's got an easy task here. + | #PulveriseR is not too impressive...it's disc is more of a Matilda-esc disc, in other words it slower and is more useful in throwing robots upwards that causing proper damage (which may be a reason why it performed so badly in the UK) and if I'm honest so is Slicer. Tough As Nails is a perfect machine to clasp around and pit either opponent and really just to win it can do just that to one of them, to score large amount of points. The claws will protect it and the control will be key.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 12:27, April 5, 2020 (UTC) |

+ | #:I agree that PulverizeR's spinner wasn't great but what about it makes it comparable to Matilda? Her weapon wasn't slow and didn't just throw robots upwards - it caused unprecedented damage and explosive moments from the moment it was created. Even when it was less consistent in its debut campaign in Extreme it still created big, brutal moments. NJGW (talk) 13:24, April 5, 2020 (UTC) |

+ | #::Matilda's flywheel is probably the best spinner out there, but what I was trying to compare/say was and I believe that Matilda's flywheel was built to spin "slower" or rotate in a slower fashion that allowed it to cause so much devastation. PulveriseR seemed to be a "slower rotater" which is why it seemed to lift robots more than actually shredding damage.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 13:27, April 5, 2020 (UTC) |

+ | #I voted for PulverizeR in a bout involving these two previously, but as decent a machine as Slicer is, I don't think its presence can affect this battle against Tough as Nails too much. I think it'll target PulverizeR head on this time, and without a Gravity to immediately punish vulnerabilities, Tough as Nails will be okay. Can see Slicer itself deliberately meandering around while these two have their personal tussle decided in the opening moments, and then Tough as Nails presses through in a one on one between the two remaining. + | #Normally, I'd say Tough as Nails would be vulnerable in being unable to attack both spinners at once, leaving it vulnerable to attack from the other while dealing with one. However, I suspect the team will have anticipated that, and target PulverizeR, the one more likely to cause severe damage, first. Once it's been dealt with, Slicer will fall like a domino. #To be fair, if Tsunami and PulverizeR collide head-on, chances are Tsunami will lose and get thrown into the air onto its back. If this keeps happening, PulverizeR should easily win this one. However, the main issue with PulverizeR is that it is too damn sluggish, continually exposing its sides against lesser opponents. This is fine against such foes, but not against the super quick and agile Tsunami. Eventually, I see Tsunami getting underneath the rear of PulverizeR, which is perfect for the German flipper to push and toss out of the arena. Germany once again beats The Netherlands. + | #Upon rewatching some of PulveriseR's battles from DS2 I am little mixed about is actual potential. I can't say it weapon was too good at much and it seemed to always struggle with control, with that in mind I say Tsunami is gonna have a VERY easy time here.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 10:56, April 5, 2020 (UTC) |

+ | #Tsunami has lost to a flywheel before, but that won't hurt it here. PulverizeR should stay in the arena as its a plenty awkward shape to stop Tsunami getting a good enough grip to do it without a bit of luck. One awkward landing and the disc will stop spinning, and it's all Germany from then on. Forums: Index > Dutch Series 3 > Dutch Series 3 The Netherlands vs Germany
Welkom terug bij Nederlandse Serie 3. For our final special event, we have decided to get personnal. For years, our neighbours in Germany have been gloating about their nation's performances against us for far too long. Indeed, for some of us, the heatbreak of the 1974 World Cup final still lingers, and so it is time to exact revenge, not in football, but with Robot Wars! Four German machines have challenged four of the very finest Dutch machines in a tournament where national pride is at stake. Who will come out on top? To find out, we must LAAT DE OORLOGEN BEGINNEN!
