S3 was only beaten by Series 5's champion and runners-up. Not even Stinger could stop it, thus showing that it truly deserved among the elite for that series. Now, it seeks to not only solidify this status, but also to earn the International Series 6 crown. However, Extreme Warriors: Season 2 Grand Finalist Rosie the Riveter 2 is no pushover, making it a worthy adversary for the spinner. So, LET THE WARS BEGIN!

Round 1

S3 (13) vs R.O.C.S. vs The Gap vs Impact

  1. S3 and The Gap. I believe S3 should have no trouble here, considering all three robots either had trouble against spinners and/or were just fragile in general. Henceforth, who shall progress with Sting 3 for the next round? Not R.O.C.S., who I feel is not only especially vulnerable to the damaging blade of S3, but also because of its unreliable srimech, The Gap's flipper. With the crusher out, we have The Gap and Impact left, and I shall back the former here. While it suffered against Propeller-Head, it did take more blows against it than Impact did versus Twister. Plus, I think The Gap could trap S3 by clamping it, like Bigger Brother did against Tornado. Henceforth, when also considering Impact is an easier shape to hit, I think The Gap should survive S3's onslaught the longest. SpaceManiac888 (Talk) 08:31, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  2. S3 and R.O.C. - S3 is through no matter what, so who survives? Impact was mutilated by Twister so it armour isn't the best here. The Gap (speaking of which, that's an image that needs the Remove.bg treatment) on the other hand had reliability issues that resulted in it dying in one hit and or under little pressure. R.O.C.S isn't the best but I can see it lasting longer, so I'm giving it to them.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 08:35, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  3. S3 and Impact. Impact has armour covering its wheels. The Gap and R.O.C.S. don't, and S3 is well driven enough to easily aim for the wheels and take them out. Jimlaad43(talk) 08:42, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  4. S3 and R.O.C.S. R.O.C.S. can have a go at Impact whilst S3 takes the wheels off of The Gap. S3 is then free to choose who to pick off out of the other two, and I see it targeting Impact, ripping into it, creating damage in addition to the bit that R.O.C.S.. S3 will either finish it off, or S3 and R.O.C.S. on the Judges. Adster1005 09:38, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  5. S3 and R.O.C.S. Seeing as S3 is quite capable of immobilising any machine in the fight, I'm simply going to offer the Round 2 place to R.O.C.S. who would likely be the best contributor in the melee if they all survived. In Series 6, we saw R.O.C.S. avoid the horizontal spinner it couldn't deal with (Corkscrew) before getting stuck in with the other robots, while Series 7 saw it actively pursue the vertical spinner of The Executioner and ultimately come out on top. I think R.O.C.S. will be comfortable with attacking the seed and may get away with it. It's not likely to be taken out in one hit, R.O.C.S. lacks armour overall but its thick lower chassis is still good for withstanding vertical blades. The Gap is inconsistent, The Revolutionist killed it easily with a tap on the shoulder, but Propeller-Head didn't manage to KO it fully before The Gap pitted itself. It did have an intermittent period after a big hit though, and I can see that happening at minimum. Impact is an important player, because it's theoretically the most protected from S3 build-wise, but it is the least protected in terms of offence. Jeroen van Lieverloo was an entertainer, always out there to put on a good show, and he strikes me as the kind that would take on S3 head-first and get itself killed, or at least distract it for long enough to let R.O.C.S. get an attack or two in. There's no real way to tell who S3 would spare in this fight, but R.O.C.S. is my pick. TOAST 09:39, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  6. S3 and R.O.C.S. - My thinking is that the loss to Razer the previous war might be playing on the S3 team's minds in this one. R.O.C.S. of course isn't in the same league as Razer, but this is R.O.C.S.'s first appearance with the crusher, so it'd be something of an unknown quantity - why risk going for it and making yourself a target, particularly when there's two boxy targets in The Gap and Impact? Combatwombat555 (talk) 14:53, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  7. S3 and Impact. Impact is the only opponent without anything vulnerable exposed that S3 can easily target, so it will avoid being attacked for the most part until R.O.C.S. and The Gap are both dead. Hogwild94 (talk) 17:44, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  8. S3 and R.O.C.S. - The Gap could easily go through here. If it starts near R.O.C.S. it can definitely lift R.O.C.S. over handily, and from there it would be in further danger. However, the generally inconsistency over The Gap's durability means I'll just about give R.O.C.S. the edge. NJGW (talk) 17:32, July 28, 2020 (UTC)
  9. S3 and The Gap. I doubt I'm going to change anyone's minds here, but with all three non-seeds being extremely vulnerable to attacks from S3, I have to go with the robot that has the actual knockout capability, no matter how small. CrashBash (talk) 18:21, July 28, 2020 (UTC)
  10. S3 and R.O.C.S. S3 may be unnecessarily wary of R.O.C.S. after its convincing loss to Razer in Series 5. Impact took telling damage from Twister in DS2, and I fear similar results against S3, eventually killing it. It didn’t seem to take much to kill The Gap off, whereas R.O.C.S. showed decent levels of durability when it was up on its wheels. The Gap may well beat R.O.C.S. in a H2H clash, but I think S3 will score a KO hit on The Gap before it gets the chance to tip R.O.C.S. over in a melee. Raz3r(talk) 01:05, July 29, 2020 (UTC)

Rosie the Riveter 2 vs 13 Black vs The Alien vs Spam

Rosie the Riveter II

  1. Rosie the Riveter 2 and 13 Black. Well, I can see an obvious dream match potentially occurring later in this heat. But for now, I think this melee is pretty simple. The Alien could not even beat a vulnerable 13 Black in Series 7, losing after its removable link came out. A fresh 13 Black could defeat The Alien, no trouble. Meanwhile, Spam has exposed wheels, making it especially vulnerable to a 13 Black blow or two. Rosie the Riveter 2 has some good protection, so it shall progress alongside the spinner. SpaceManiac888 (Talk) 08:31, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  2. Rosie the Riveter 2 and 13 Black - Can't really fault Space's logic here, Spam is easily the weakest and The Alien is a bit of a glass cannon in a way, it may survive all the way but 13 Black will get the damage points and Rosie will get the aggression and control.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 08:37, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  3. Rosie the Riveter 2 and 13 Black. Agreed. Spam is ridiculously vulnerable and Rosie can basically feed The Alien into 13 Black's discs. Jimlaad43(talk) 08:44, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  4. 13BLACK and Rosie the Riveter II 13BLACK can take out Spam, and Rosie can push The Alien around, into the discs and into the pit. Adster1005 09:38, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  5. The Alien and 13BLACK. This can go one of two ways for me. Either 13BLACK and The Alien repeat their weapon-to-weapon collision from Sereies 7 and The Alien will conk out, or The Alien survives and actually scalps a first place here. I can actually see this as a perfect parallel of The Alien's most famous melee: The Alien will cause the most damage to all opponents as before, 13BLACK will cause less damage but be the one to get the only KO (the role of Sir Chromalot) on the weakest robot Spam (in place of ICU), while Rosie the Riveter will try its best and arguably deserve to go through but the visible vertical spinner damage it suffered will cost it in the end (like GBH 2). I really do see The Alien as a significant threat to Rosie and with 13BLACK having weaker (apparently) spinners in Series 6 compared to Series 7, there may not be a knockout blow on The Alien. In fact, when The Alien's bar does inevitably stop spinning, that will protect it from the possibility of a lethal weapon-to-weapon blow. It's still possible that Rosie could qualify over 13BLACK if the roulette wheels do not take the life of Spam, but I'm going with an Alien outright win and a second place qualification for 13BLACK. TOAST 09:40, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  6. Rosie the Riveter 2 and 13 Black - I can see it being a close-fought fight between Rosie and the two spinners here. Rosie is pretty resilient and has decent armour, I don't think it'll fear either spinner, but The Alien's narrow area of attack will probably mean it gets targeted more than 13 Black. 13 Black is mostly likely to get the kill of Spam, and The Alien will just struggle a bit to pick up points compared to Rosie and 13 Black. Combatwombat555 (talk) 15:03, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  7. 13 Black and The Alien. Two reasonably good spinners vs two robots with exposed wheels. Rosie will maybe get a few good pushes in, but the damage caused by the two spinners will prove decisive with the judges. Spam will long be dead by then. Hogwild94 (talk) 17:46, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
  8. The Alien and Rosie the Riveter 2 - I actually think 13Black is in trouble here. The Alien clattered into it well in Series 7, and I think it can avoid a sudden KO like what happened in Series 7 - partly down to better luck, mostly down to 13Black having less power. if Rosie and The Alien stay alive, I think they'll harass 13Black, its spinners will show fatigue or lock up, and these two will head through. Spam is a non factor - probably loses a tyre to 13Black early. NJGW (talk) 17:35, July 28, 2020 (UTC)
  9. Rosie the Riveter 2 and 13 Black. Can't really say anything that hasn't been said about this pair already, I just feel they're slightly more likely to go through. CrashBash (talk) 18:22, July 28, 2020 (UTC)
  10. Rosie the Riveter 2 and 13 Black Something went wrong with The Alien in every fight it fought, whether it was the spinner stopping, the srimech failing to do its job or breaking down. I have a feeling the former is guaranteed to happen here, either through rams from Rosie or a weapon collision with 13 Black. This would perhaps disable one of the 13 Black spinners too, but it would still have its second one to hand, and I feel 13 Black is more likely to cause telling damage to Spam than The Alien will dish out. The Alien to survive to the judges, but by then its weapon will have been dead for half the fight, Rosie will have shown the most aggression and 13 Black will have KOed Spam.
