Scrap-2-Saur had an eventful Dutch Series 2 campaign, taking out the likes of Gravity and surviving a scare against Meshuggah, before ultimately losing to the eventual champion PulverizeR. A worthy Grand Finalist, Scrap-2-Saur is looking to become a UK Grand Finalist too, and ideally becoming the champion. However, this heat has many obstacles in Scrap-2-Saur's path, including former Semi-Finalist Thermidor 2, and two of the most promising names in Corkscrew and Fluffy. So, LET THE WARS BEGIN!

Scrap-2-Saur (15) vs Beaverbot vs Thermidor 2 vs Corkscrew
Scrap-2-Saur and Corkscrew. Beaverbot's team competing for the second time here, after competing with Hoot earlier on. However, its aerial being damaged by the robot's own spinner will probably mean that a Corkscrew hit will take it out fairly quickly. Meanwhile, Thermidor 2 simply will not survive a powerful hit from the full-body spinner. Scrap-2-Saur, on the other hand, survived multiple hits from Meshuggah, so should survive, unlike the others. Scrap-2-Saur and Corkscrew - I tried thinking of a way that Thermidor could survive, but unless Corkscrew were to drive into the pit there's no way it'll survive a pounding or even a single hit! Corkscrew and Thermidor 2. Scrap-2-Saur survived the vertical spinner of Meshuggah yes, but Corkscrew's more powerful horizontal spinner could tear the sides of Scrap-2-Saur apart because of the weird angles of them. Beaverbot is not an issue, and I feel like Thermidor can keep away long enough to avoid being knocked out by Corkscrew, scoring the knockout flip on Beaverbot in the process. Texas Tornado and Fluffy. Pretty well-balanced melee, this one. Nonetheless, I do feel the two flippers are vulnerable here. Indeed, it did not take much for Barbaric Response to suffer a breakdown in a melee situation, so a blow from Fluffy will certainly cause havoc to it. Meanwhile, Judge Shred 2½'s sides are appealing and are not especially well-armoured as proven against 259. A few hits from Fluffy, and I feel it shall be knocked out. Texas Tornado's aerial is vulnerable, but a robot needs to drive over it to compromise it. I feel its team will ensure that this time, Kerry Von Erich is not prone to such attacks. Providing it generally dodges Fluffy, its armour and agility should help it to survive, unlike the others. SpaceManiac888(Talk) 08:31, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
Fluffy and Judge Shred - Texas Tornado is an over achiever in my opinion. Upon rewatching its matches, it really wasn't too impressive with it other being bullied or dying under very little pressure. This is a tough match up but for me Texas Tornado is the weakest by a long shot, whether its flipped or torn apart. I feel the wheel guards of Barbaric Response, which stick out massively, will be too easy for the pickings and as such I feel Judge Shred should survive long enough, afterall in its melee it survived horrific damage but lasted quite a while.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 08:41, July 27, 2020 (UTC)
Fluffy and Judge Shred. Texas Tornado will be flipped over and stuck, where Fluffy can wreck it with the spinner. Barbaric Response's snowscoop should be great at deflecting Fluffy's spinner away, but if Judge Shred flips it over, Barbaric will be stuck, writhing until Fluffy tears it apart while vulnerable.
