#Tsunami isn't going to be ruffled by Rosie pushing it about, and can score loads of points with good flips. Leave it upside-down and Rosie loses its wedge, allowing a Bigger Brother vs Tornado style end to the bout. #Great little fight, I'd love to see it. If Rosie has the lower wedge then it should win pretty comfortably, but I don't hugely rate its front clearance. If all you needed to beat Rosie was a lower wedge (like Snake Bite showed), then Tsunami's flips should make things much clearer. Still think that Rosie could be in the running thanks to the losers' melee though, would love to sneak it into the Top 8 to keep that Ragnabot success streak going. <span style="font-family:Pirulen; font-size:10pt"><font color="maroon">T</font><font color="ff8c00">OAS</font><font color="maroon">T</font></span> 14:07, 20 September 2020 (UTC) |

− | #Another fight that honestly seems easy to decide. The crux of most of the US 'bots are a good flipper, and Tsunami is at least competent enough to get the necessary flip to cut off Rosie's offensive potential. From there, Tsunami just needs to control an upside-down Rosie and it'll get a win on the judges' through commanding the fight with control and aggression. --<span style="color:red">TheyCallMeDoot</span> [[User talk: TheyCallMeDoot|<span style="color:gray">(*doot doot* |

+ | #I feel like this should be a Tsunami win. Every time Rosie is inverted, Tsunami can punish the already-high-because-American-robot ground clearance with the now-inverted wedge. Considering what Snake Bite managed, I'm not even convinced that Rosie can outwedge it in a front-on situation. Thus, I have to say Tsunami takes a judges win. #This could swing either way - Tsunami could dominate throughout or Rosie could dominate throughout. I think Tsunami will take the lead rather early here, it will get some brilliant flips in, but I don't think it can keep it up. Rosie can then take advantage and keep pushing Tsunami everywhere. I can't quite make my mind up on whether Rosie will pit Tsunami, but even if it doesn't, I think the decision will just swing towards it. <span style="font-family: Courier"><font color="#191970">Adster</font><font color="#FF0000">1005</font></span> 09:27, 20 September 2020 (UTC) |

Forums: Index > International Series 6 > International Series 6 Semi-Final 1
After 24 action-packed heats, we have finally reached the Semi-Finals, where the road to the Grand Final truly begins to get tough. Indeed, when all is said and done, only eight machines will be honoured with a place in the Grand Final. So, without further ado, lets introduce our first six contenders and how they got to the Semi-Finals.
- Razer, our defending champion, has really yet to break any robosweat. Sure, Tough As Nails did give it a tiny bit of hassle, but Razer ultimately outmatched its Dutch opponent, before outclassing the highly impressive Terrorhurtz. So far, it is on course to achieve back-to-back titles.
- Stinger, who after its loss to S3 in Series 5, finally put that haunting behind it by redeeming itself against various spinners. Indeed, it managed to take out Blackdevil Warzone with a barrage of blows, before an expert strike on 259's weapon belt enabled the axlebot to control the Heat Final.
- Tsunami, our German runners-up, has certainly earned the right to represent Deutschland. In a heat filled with international opponents, Tsunami managed to put an end to Cyclone's reign of terror that began in the US Annihilator, before showing that less is indeed more by throwing the trio that make up √3² across the arena.
- Rosie the Riveter 2, the only American represent in this Semi-Final, has already made waves in this tournament, by defeating S3, one of the pre-tournament favourites! By defeating a power vertical spinner, as well as gaining experience in facing crushers by beating R.O.C.S., could Rosie pull off more surprises in this heat?
- Behemoth, who finally ended a long run of bad luck by conquering a heat filled with powerful horizontal spinners. Behemoth has worked hard throughout Heat D, firstly by ending up 2-0 against Supernova, successfully managing to withstand the much improved spinner before dumping it into the Pit. Perhaps more impressively though, Behemoth is now 2-0 up against Hypno-Disc, showing that its win back in Extreme 1 is no fluke. Now, with no horizontal spinners in this Semi-Final, will Behemoth struggle or will it thrive against old and new opponents?
- Last but not least, Ming 3, who is also making waves, firstly by overcoming American represent Sir Force A Lot, before ending the Adams Family's Semi-Final streak by outmatching Wild Thing on a Judges' decision. Will it be able to reach the heights of fellow crusher Razer? We shall see.
So, LET THE WARS BEGIN!
