#The best moment of this episode was Big Nipper sending Smash into orbit. And yes, that is getting placed higher than the Carbide vs Gabriel melee, in which we got soooooo close to an OotA by a Horizontal Spinner. The Heat Final is going to be this heat's downfall as the tournament rumbles on. #Maybe it's because I don't remember Series 6 all that fondly, but this wasn't too hard for me to decide, give me two incredible melees with one of the most heart stopping fights I've ever seen with an incredible OOTA straight after, followed by a brutal redemption battle and an even better OOTA, followed swiftly by two servicable semi finals and another heart stopping upset, and you have an incredible episode. Sure it has its parts that fall short, such as Aftershock's early exit and the heat final, but this easily outweighs the benefits of Heat J.

#S3 is still a tank all through this episode, and it only has one dire fight in The Alien vs Shredder. otherwise, all the fights have their moments - Class Act are on form as usual and we get a chunk of Shredder stuck in the ceiling of an aircraft hangar! S9HA just petered out as it went on. Sabretooth got destroyed but still won the head-to-head second place and were promptly thrashed by Aftershock in the end. There are just too many negatives in HA - Rapid's withdrawal, Nuts failing, Jellyfish losing to an OHKO, Terrorhurtz's axe not working. Aftershock was about the only good thing, so at least it won. #Even the "best" Series 9 has to offer is very...err.... boring. The first round melees, and Aftershock are great but people fail to remember there's actually other battles in this episode! Such as the bleak Jellyfish vs Terrorhurts, the dull Heat Final and the God Awful Sabretooth vs Jellysfish. This Heat on the other hand has a lot more to offer. The melees are mayhem and fun in general, the round two battles offer quite a few moments like the hilarious Sir Chromalot cowering from S3. Then the Heat Final which offers great hits and is destructive in every way.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 11:28, March 13, 2019 (UTC)

#When I saw the draw, I thought I would be voting for Heat A, but I wanted to be sure so I went back and watched Heat D... and one and a half melees in I was sold! I didn't use to get the hype for the first melee, but going back and watching it in full made me realise that it's the kind of melee that I love, 4 robots that all have a quality close to eachother going at it and all of them having some kind of effect! This kind of melee is honestly rarer than I wish it would be. Followed up by a much more one sided S3 win, it's still alot of fun, with S3 showing their power from the word activate, Armadrillo beating the count out, which also leads to one of my favourite Robot Wars Turds from NJGW. Add in everything about Team Class Act and these first 20 minutes alone beat out Heat A. I like Series 9 alot more than other people do, but I'll happily admit when it has its faults, and if 20 minutes ofa Series 6 episode outweighs a whole, very one sided episode... Yeah it has alot of them.ThatRedOtter (talk) 11:59, March 13, 2019 (UTC)

Robot Wars: Series 10/Heat 2 (3) Robot Wars: The Sixth Wars/Heat J
Gabriel vs big nipper

Aftershock Gabriel 2 1

Dominator 2 vs Hydra
SMIDSY vs Comengetorix vs Warhog vs St Agro
Warhog Pitted
Hydra vs Dominator 2
Votes for Series 10, Heat 2
 1. Well, I deliberately picked the best photos from Heat J, because its only going to be in for one round. Much as I adore the SMIDSY melee, and don't at all care for the Eruption melee, the rest of Heat J never did much for me and Heat 2 of Series 10 still has the Carbide melee which is really enough. 2. The best moment of this episode was Big Nipper sending Smash into orbit. Votes for Series 9, Heat 1
 1. Series 6, Heat D has the best individual fight of the lot, with a superb melee between Sir Chromalot, The Alien, GBH 2 and ICU. 9A also has the worst overall fights, with both Jellyfish head to heads being barely watchable snoozes, and the heat final being a disappointing limp. However, take out the three fights I just mentioned and 9A still has 6 fights left against the 5 that 6D has in total. I do not subscribe to the love of the S3/Chromalot or Alien/Shredder fights, nor the heat final. By sheer mathematics alone, and somewhat surprisingly, I am backing the seed here. Votes for Series 7, Heat D
 1. This is darn close, and I'll acknowledge Toast's inevitable complaint that had X2ASB been seeded, it wouldn't have drawn 7D in the first round. However, the chips have fallen and we have two episodes against one another, each featuring a fairly dominant robot with a plucky runner up whose impressing in their own way. Gravity felt more invincible than Razer did, but perhaps that is just that the 13 Black damage has been overplayed throughout the year. 13 Black's victory over Dominator 2 is well earned but less delightful than Lightning's over Thor, and Razer's KO on Spawn Again couldn't compare to even 6 seconds of Gravity's on 13 Black. That is not to underrated X2ASB, which has some of the best fights of all time in it, but much like Lightning edged out 13 Black in real life, 7D edges X2ASB. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 11:16, March 13, 2019 (UTC)
Votes for Extreme 2 All-Stars, Heat B
 1. I'll be blunt. I don't think Heat D is a good episode. The only "good" thing about it was Gravity. Everything else, side event included, is terrible. There's no real memorable moments other than maybe Gravity's odd flips. The melee with 13 Black is dull, the round 2 matches are forgettable, the side event is embarrassing and the Heat Finals isn't something to rave on. This may not be the best episode but atleast it's battles were fun, at least there's more memorability such as Chaos 2's last fight being particularly brutal, Razer losing a wing, Hypno-Disc's shocking loss, 13 Black and Dominator fighting near the pit and even Razer fight 13 Black was all good. Heat D is in no way entertaining and I must ask, what (for those who like it) is good about it? I think it's actually one of the WORST Heats in Robot Wars history personally...Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 11:33, March 13, 2019 (UTC)
 2. 13 Black's finest moment vs its lowest. Grvity was a star in Heat D, but the heat lacks elsewhere, as Thor underdelivered, and Lightning was impressive without being exciting. Gravity taking out the House Robots was great, and the OotA's stylish, but I just think the battle quality otherwise wasn't as good as ASH2. 13 Black dominated Chaos 2 and Razer in the first melee, ending the career of the double champions and nearly tearing Razer apart. Spawn Again finally worked in its next melee, dispatching of Hypno-Disc. Sadly, Razer vs Spawn Again wasn't great, but 13 Black vs Dominator 2 ended with the incredible dragging match towards the pit. 13 Black really should have won the Heat Final, but it stuttered, allowing Razer one chance, and it showed why it was such a good robot becuase the one chance was jumped on to perfection, chucking it down the pit. Of course, this episode also included the All-Stars final, another opportunity for Razer to flex its muscles over Firestorm, classily disposing of the flipper into the pit. Votes for Series 5, Heat H
 1. And I'm 4/4 in voting for the seeds this round. 5H just has the goods on display. This heat might be the most beautifully stacked heat in terms of new talent and old faces, with Behemoth, Crushtacean, Wheely Big Cheese, Supernova, Axe-Awe and Robochicken all getting to impress throughout the episode in terms of raw potential or dominance. This episode has more iconic moments in its second round than Series 7 Semi 2 has in its entire run time. I honestly think 7SF2 might be the weakest of our 32 candidates, and unlike the second and third fights in this region, this isn't close for me. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 11:16, March 13, 2019 (UTC)
 2. I'm sad to vote for something over that Semi-Final, but Heat H of Series 5 is the best heat of all time. Wheely Big Cheese hurls Wolverine out without thinking, Granny's Revenge is the epitome of a joke bot done right, and its cremation at the hands of the House Robots is hilarious, along with Refbot being pitted too. Robochicken-Evo vs Crushtacean is an underrated classic of a close call, while Behemoth vs Supernova is another titanic battle. The second round raises the quality even more. Wheely Big Cheese vs Axe-Awe fist off has the Langport, Somerset rivalry rightly played up, and the battle is quick and includes the biggest flip in Robot Wars history, and we haven't seen anything fly like that since. Spawn Again vs Chip, Apollo vs Rubber Duck and Big Nipper vs Smash are the only things close. Behemoth's demise against Crushtacean is one of the best bits of driving in Robot Wars history, as the claws poke Behemoth up, grab it on the srimech arms and steer it into the pit. Sadly, the Heat Final wasn't up with the rest of the battles (the cheese grater was a good addition though), which will hurt it later in the tournament. A rightful classic with everything you need - OotA's, close battles, shock wins for the right reasons and a rightful heat winner. This was Wheely Big Cheese at its finest, and the only time it worked properly. if WBC was able to keep this form and reliability, I believe it would have won Series 5. It's just a shame it broke down after trouncing Dominator 2 int he Semi-Finals... Jimlaad43(talk) 11:42, March 13, 2019 (UTC)
Votes for Series 7, Semi-Final 2
 1. Series 5 just doesn't have an entertaining spark for me, I'm half of the time being more distracted by smaller things than to actually rewatch an episode that isn't the Semi Final or Grand Final. Speaking of semi finals, this semi final is pretty good. We have Storm 2 slamming its way to victory, Typhoon causing massive destruction, Atomic vs M2, Mute getting a well deserved beating. Way more I can remember and admire from this semi final than ANYTHING Series 5 has.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 11:36, March 13, 2019 (UTC)
