  1. Rosie joins the OotA list here. It's completely outclassed with US ground clearance against a proven rebOotA robot. Jimlaad43(talk) 09:54, January 25, 2020 (UTC)

Votes for Big Nipper
  1. Aha! Now I can use my trap card! The votes thus far are ignoring the fact that Big Nipper had interchangeable weapons are simply judging it by the official image. Big Nipper has fought Behemoth with the claws in the Live Events and won quite impressively (one example here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9VHG_N4nmg ) Behemoth will inevitably get flips in but if Big Nipper uses the claws it will win the fight by control and lifts alone. So what about the flywheel? Well, again I can see Big Nipper winning this. I won't lie Behemoth is at more of an advantage if Big Nipper uses the flywheel but as we've seen time and time again, vertical flywheels are in a sense Behemoth's kriptonite, able to literally throw Behemoth over andcould event cause internal damage (see Sabretooth and Magnetar for example) I think people are too easily passing this off (especially Toon's awful vote) when really this'll be a proper 3 minute fight with both robots performing at their best, but I feel Big Nipper's control, aggression and most certainly damage will sway this.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 10:18, January 25, 2020 (UTC)
  2. Agree with Diotoir here, Big Nipper is much more dependable in a high pressure situation. Wish it was beating Arena Cleaner instead, sad times. TOAST
Votes for Behemoth
  1. Big Nipper may be decent with the flywheel, which could cause some damage to the scoop or sides of Behemoth, but Big Nipper just seems like the compact kind of shape that Behemoth can scoop up and shove wherever it likes. Big Nipper to be dumped in the pit is what I'd expect to see here. Jimlaad43(talk) 09:54, January 25, 2020 (UTC)
  2. Behemoth can run into Big Nipper and slam it into the walls. It can also be delivered to House Robots, and whilst Behemoth might come away with some scratches, I think a pitting might be in order. And if Carbide does go, Behemoth might reach the Top 2 again. Votes for Magnetar
  1. Everyone writing this tournament off as a Carbide victory seems to have forgotten the other robot here which could stop Carbide. Magnetar is an improves version of Pulsar, which has a history of stopping massive spinners in its path. Ironside3 has been beaten multiple times (although with those two it's a coin toss), and Magnetar was upgraded to basically make sure it beats Ironside3 each time. But the most telling is how an unreliable Pulsar managed to destroy Supernova with a weapon collision. When Carbide and Magnetar hit, the even faster drum on Magnetar will come out on top, pinging Carbide away at massive speeds. Carbide's weapon reliability wasn't impervious, and a big hit damaging the weapon chain on Carbide isn't unlikely here. A weaponless Carbide was never that great, and even a weaponless Magnetar would win that fight, as its wedge is a lot more optimised to get under Carbide and push it about. Magnetar solved the problems Pulsar had and dialled the weapon up to 11. I'm just sad the srimech issue hampered it in the final, because it was the Carbide killer I had tipped for the Series 10 title, and we were denied a smashing battle. Jimlaad43(talk) 09:54, January 25, 2020 (UTC)
Votes for Carbide
  1. Carbide will cause more damage to Magnetar here than Magnetar will to Carbide. Even if Carbide is flung away, it will then know to go for the sides of Magnetar. Carbide could also try and push Magnetar into a CPZ, because three out of four reboot house robots could get it over, meaning Carbide could get more attacks in, whilst it is upside down. And whilst I'm not saying it won't self-right, because Magnetar definitely will, I think Carbide will deal more damage when Magnetar is vulnerable, rather than vice versa. If Carbide can, it will KO Magnetar. If not a tight Judges' decision. (Of course Carbide draws the only machine it'll struggle against whilst it's on my sweepstake team.) Adster1005 10:01, January 25, 2020 (UTC)
  2. Carbide is not beatable. I don’t subscribe to Terrorhurtz doing it over and over, nor Nuts 2, nor would I back Apollo or Eruption to do so since they lost 3 times. Magnetar is a fun unknown and I’d have them beat Eruption, but not Carbide. Carbide just stupidly reliable and Magnetars grand final performance took some sheen off its own reliability. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 10:09, January 25, 2020 (UTC)
  3. Honesty, even though Magnetar is meant to be an "improved version" of Pulsar, I think Carbide has this easy. Magnetar still had its issues (namely being flipped) and honestly, it never really fought a major spinner in Series 10, which means we don't know how to properly judge this. But Carbide is so powerful and aggressive that I can see the first hit potentially knocking one side immobile before the rest will cause hefty damage elsewhere.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 10:21, January 25, 2020 (UTC)

Votes for Wheely Big Cheese
  1. I know we could use "seen it" here, and maybe I should go with that, but nearing the end of S6/X2, Hypno-Disc really started to struggle in terms of reliability. And that could get it here, as it could easily just conk out after WBC takes a bashing, but will survive. In reality, what I think will happen is that WBC will get a flip to start with, and whilst WBC will take damage for a bit, Hypno-Disc will soon struggle, and WBC can then keep getting flips in, and driving it to danger zones of the arena, such as the spikes and the flame pit, as well as the House Robots. Wheely Big Cheese to take the Judges. Adster1005 10:08, January 25, 2020 (UTC)
The Hypno Disc reliability card gets way too much oxygen in this forum. Surely the fact that Wheely Big Cheese never even got a flip in means something? Hypno Disc broke down after being chucked around by Spawn Again, and Wheely Big Cheese isn’t going to deal the same recoil as Dominator 2. It hasn’t updated from the version we used in the “seen it” fight. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 10:12, January 25, 2020 (UTC)
Votes for Hypno-Disc
  1. We saw this in the Extreme 1 melee, and I can't say I disagree with Hypno-Disc DBWITA-ing Wheely Big Cheese, so that's what will occur here. Jimlaad43(talk) 09:54, January 25, 2020 (UTC)
  2. Excellent work by Hypno Disc!! Loving this top 8 finish. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 10:06, January 25, 2020 (UTC)
