Heat the Eighth sees us cross the North Sea to The Netherlands, where we will be borrowing their losers melee format. This allows a lucky loser to progress from the first round and have another attempt at getting through the heat. The melee loser can still qualify for the final, thus definitely not appearing on Space's list, so we'll just have to see if that eventuality happens.
On the face of it, both of these robots are very similar. Both wedges with a bit of speed behind them. However, Overkill has flippers, which within the 5 minutes should find a gap under Velocirippa to overturn it. Without the rollover bars, the robot which always seems to lose is destined for another. Aggrobot is fast, aggressive and well designed for this fight. It can get its nose low, scoop under Small Torque and keep it pushed away and at bay. Aggrobot 2 feels like a natural progression for the original Aggrobot, but Small Torque feels like a massive step back from All Torque. Small Torque's disc could have been reasonable, but the teeth on it are so small that it's never going to get a decent bite, especially not at 4000rpm.
