This page is just for my benefit, but can someone help me find a way to buy Robot Arena 2 from down under. Because I live in Australia, I live outside the "territory authorized for distribution". I have tried amazon.com, but the same problem occured. I had some luck in downloading a one hour trial from www.ausgamers.com, but that's as far as it got. So if anyubody can help me with buying, what is in my opinion, the best Robot Wars game (out of 5) whilst living in Australia, I would really appreiciate it. Thanks for reading. You live in Australia too? Nice. Try eBay, its amazing what you'll find there. I hear air guitars sold on eBay once. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 10:45, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
Air guitars or no air guitars, the only one I found in Ebay was being sold by Bird Rock Bargains, and they only ship to the US or Canada. There are loads of copies of Robot Arena 1 that can be shipped to Australia but...(Need I finish this sentance)
Thanks for trying, though. And it's interesting to read below that you cannot get it in the UK either.
And, yes I do live in Australia (Melbourne). Just check out my Series 4 videos on Youtube, you'll see adds for Totally Footy where I forgot to stop recording!Master of Mayhem 05:32, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
I've got the same problem here in the U.K. Helloher (talk) 15:47, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
Try contacting the user and asking for him to ship it Down Under. If you tell him that you are willing to pay the cost, he should be willing to sell it to you. If not, Google search Buy Robot Arena 2. Never know. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 09:42, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
The user? As in the seller? (Bird Rock Bargains) Sorry, but I've never really used Ebay or Amazon before. Master of Mayhem 22:50, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
I bought it on eBay here in the UK. I suppose all you can do is wait for somebody who is willing to ship it internationally. Luckily I was able to find one when I looked. Christophee (talk) 23:20, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
I though the reason why they didn't ship internationally was because it was 'outside the manufacturers authorized territory'. So it's the sellers who make the restrictions? Master of Mayhem 03:38, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
It's case by case, always ask before you bid or Buy it Now. Some will, some won't. I myself have the same problems as you; I love collecting Robot Wars stuff, but all the sellers are in the UK, and not all will ship to the States. I miss ouy on some good stuff sometimes. So your're saying that if I keep looking (there were around 16 on Amazon) I may find one belonging to a sell that is willing to ship it to here? Master of Mayhem 07:22, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
Pretty much. You'll have to ask. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 07:46, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
Good news! I've found a seller who ships to the Asian regions (in which Austrlia is included). What proves this is the fact that an error screen came up when I tried to perchase it from another seller, and this went straight to the payment options. My mum will be buying it from work on Monday, cause this computer has bugger-all protection. Master of Mayhem 08:41, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
Which site did you get it from? Helloher (talk) 18:31, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
Amazon.com. Just don't get any ideas before Monday, haha. Master of Mayhem 00:08, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
