Votes for Drillzilla It is just far too simple for Drillzilla to push Anvil down to the pit. Anvil isn't bad, but Drillzilla is just too elite for it. D.O.T (Look! Manta will cause damage with its spinner, and zip around the arena to win. I think you give Pressure FAR too much credit, and this is coming from someone who thinks it's underrated. Manta will have no issues damaging Pressure's shell and then pitting them. Why someone asked for Drillzilla to be included and Arnold A Terminegger to be excluded I don't know when AAT is actually liked and doesn't have tournaments handed to it on a plate once it appears. I think Drillzilla should join the Banned list, the only bot shown to beat one on one is on that list so why shouldn't Drillzilla be on that list? Sam (BAZINGA) 12:36, July 21, 2015 (UTC) Don't know about D.O.T., but I was thinking Manta, it was outpushing and more than holding its own against Drillzilla in its World Championship match before it broke down. Panzer Mk 2 is more of a toss-up but might as well, that's got a damn good push on it, as does Ansgar 3 which has the active weapon to show aggression and maybe cause scratches, and then there's Philipper 2 which I wouldn't necessarily count out... There are robots that would give Drillzilla a decent fight at the very least. And just because there's a robot you think might be a foregone conclusion for the title, is that a reason to stop? Chelsea were almost certainly the best team in the Premier League last season, that doesn't mean the other teams should have gone 'Well, that's that then, we'll not bother'. Australia were considered massive favourites in the run up to the Ashes this year, should England have just given up and quitted? And it's not all about the winner anyway, I for one am very interested in seeing who gets to the Grand Final from the other (maybe slightly weaker) semi-final, and seeing the unsung heroes of the warzone given a chance to do well- I thought that was the point of this whole tournament? Sorry if this comes across as ranting, but it seems like just because there's been a result you don't like you're throwing in the towel. Votes for Anvil I'm kind of torn here: Pressure has the best weaponry in the fight, which isn't really saying much, but Anvil is fastest... Anvil also has the best pushing power and seems most agile, especially seeing as Pressure is slow to turn, I think Anvil's repeated side-on shoves will take the judges' decision. Spirit of Knightmare can be easily taken down, due to the slow speed it has, so it is down to Anvil and Pressure and if I have to be honest, Pressure will win, mostly because Anvil only had to deal with somewhat substandard robots compared to what Pressure fought (well, it lasted against Cedric Slammer, anyway) so I think Pressure will be the better of the two pushers and win on aggression. Sure, it wasn't up to the quality of the later models, but it was perfectly decent, could push as well as anything and lasted pretty well, whereas Anvil's just kinda there and Pressure is a vaguely competent pusher. Votes for Drillzilla The big problem that Ansgar 3 has when fighting Drillzila is that DZ is too fast for it, so Ansgar will constantly be broadsided until it is pitted. I thought Ansgar could have beaten DZ, but then I am reminded of its fight with Tornado and Storm II, where they were agile enough to get at the sides and push Ansgar around constantly despite the massive weight. But Drillzilla has the speed and durability to outshuffle Ansgar. Two powerful machines with the same rule-shaving locomotion, and pretty impenetrable armour with it. Both are solid pushers: we know how good Drillzilla is, and a limping Ansgar managed to push back against Storm 2, so it's not exactly a weakling... Ansgar with the active weapon could bend one of Drillzilla's claw-thingys at the front, or leave scratches on its armour, but it sure isn't getting through it, only causing cosmetic damage. Drillzilla won't cause much either, but I think Ansgar's weapon motor may burn out at some point in the fight, which will probably sway the judges in Drillzilla's favour. Votes for Manta Manta seems to have the better push and control of the two, and may be able to dispatch of Anvil by a pitting, though it can also do a bit of damage to Anvil by using the blade so that it can win on a judges.
