A lot of people were very disappointed about Series 7 back in 2003/4. Is there anything about the show that you would have amended to make it work that little bit better? I'd love to know what you reckon. 80.111.246.131 14:55, February 29, 2016 (UTC)

Really BBC shouldn't have given it away in the first place. Change the producers a bit so less corruption, get rid of the active weapon policy, don't build Cassius Chrome and keep the side competitions for a third extreme instead of having it in between each episode. Overall just make like Series 6. Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 15:34, February 29, 2016 (UTC)

Series 7 has so many things wrong, you could say it belongs in the NetherRealm. Jokes aside, Pinball, Football and Sumo should of been the side events, several rules should of been abolished (weapons, CO2 and hydraulic regulations), 32 seeds, more heats=more robots. Perhaps extreme 3 should've of been part of series 7? For house robots, they should've let the competitors or some of the fans design and build them, with no Cassius Chrome. Change the producers for more diversity and pay for the travel of foreign robots. Side note - what is the requirement to enter The Arena, 300 edits or a total of 500 edits (photos as well)? --WolfwingandSlaveLeia (talk) 18:38, February 29, 2016 (UTC)

Series 7 struggled to get 16 seeds, never mind 32! IMO special event battles are way better than Pinball. For the arena, you'll need 300 edits made up of mainspace and file edits.

What would I change about Series 7? Nothing. Well, apart from allowing Stinger entry. ToastUltimatum 18:47, February 29, 2016 (UTC)

So you'd keep Cassius Chrome and the corrupt producers...Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 18:53, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
They were always going to build a new House Robot, so....that much we know. CrashBash (talk) 19:35, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
I'm sorry but Cassius Chrome was more effective than Shunt and Sgt Bash, certainly more fun than Dead Metal, and I just don't get the hate. Obviously the Storm II controversy was terrible, I just don't let it stop me from liking the entire series as a whole. ToastUltimatum 21:53, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
"More effective than Shunt and Sgt Bash"....um not to sound rude but are you alright? That thing is most pathetic excuse of a robot, let alone House Robot! It is certainly less effective that Shunt and Sgt Bash. I don't mind if you like the series but I think your love for the series may have blinded you there. Cassius Chrome is at least three times the speed and size of both. Sgt Bash could barely push anything by Series 6, Cassius Chrome could cause internal damage with its punches, compared to the low external damage of Shunt. Also compare the number of times Shunt got flipped to the number of times Cassius Chrome got flipped. ToastUltimatum 13:04, March 1, 2016 (UTC)
I can see were Toast is going wit this one. Cassius was one of the best house robots in series 7 and its appearances really show for it. It was very reliable, had a good enough ground clearance to drive over anything and could push robots around with great ease. By series 7, Shunt and SGT. Bash would've needed a upgrade to make them much better, as seen during the Ceros rampage after beating Revolution 3. Also thanks for telling me. --WolfwingandSlaveLeia (talk) 17:56, March 1, 2016 (UTC)
The original plans for the Series 7 House Robots (yes, there were two) were basically a second Refbot and a flying robot that whilst cool as hell would have been stupidly impractical. For all of Cassius Chrome's shortcomings (I would personally have given him boxing glove-shaped spinning discs, at least that might cause external damage), he at least did his job effectively.
