Frog at Risk was a robot which competed in the 1995 UK Open Competition, the pilot and proof-of-concept for Robot Wars. Footage of its appearance was included in the Robot Wars: The First Great War video release, though details of its performance and opponents in battle are largely unknown.
Jean-Denis LeFeuvre would go on to compete in the 1996 US competition with the heavyweight Steel At Work.
Design[]
The robot was a lighter weight pill-shaped robot which had sloped edges to slide under opponents. The robot was painted red, white and blue, based on the French flag, signifying the robot's origin.

Frog at Risk driving under the Rabbit robot
Representing France, Frog at Risk was invited to compete in the UK against the largely American field of opponents in the 1995 Pilot for Robot Wars. In one battle it faced one of Derek Foxwell's "Eurobots" which was a stuffed toy rabbit on a RC cart.
In the battle, both machines charged into each other with the sloped sides of Frog at Risk, allowing it to scoop up the Rabbit robot and push it across the arena.
