The Gemini Minibot was one of several minibots released as merchandise. It was released in a box set with Tornado and Firestorm.
Whereas the minibot's robotic counterpart Gemini is a clusterbot, this minibot is unable to split into two halves. This means that both halves of Gemini will always be connected back-to-back, reminiscent of how Gemini would enter the arena in the Robot Wars show.
The Gemini minibot is almost unique, in that it is the only minibot alongside Sir Killalot to feature two moving weapons, in this instance, its flippers. In turn, the only other minibots to feature moving flippers are Matilda and Mega Morg.
