"Heavy Metal is here! No, not the music - the robot."
Jonathan Pearce's in game commentary

Heavy Metal is, as its name suggests, a heavyweight competitor robot in the game Robot Wars: Arenas of Destruction. Its weapons are two horizontal pincers and a drill and it is armoured in aluminium. It cannot self-right. It costs 4870 credits to buy.

Using Heavy MetalEdit

Heavy Metal's weapons are not very good, but due to the pincers, you can clamp into other robots and move them into hazards or pits. The drill is also competent for dealing damage and has the better damage power in comparison to the pincers, but gives poor pushing power. Heavy Metal lacks a srimech, so avoiding flippers is paramount. But be careful with the petrol engine as it can be burnt out quite easily, as even ramming into a robot may stall the engine sometimes.

Against Heavy MetalEdit

Like with most of the fictional robots, Heavy Metal can't self-right, so you can just throw it over with a flipper. If no flipper is available, you can also cut into the weak aluminium armour. Ramming Heavy Metal hard enough can also stall its petrol engine. Heavy Metal's flat top also makes it vulnerable to axes and crushers.
