JackBot

JackBot was a lifter robot that attempted to qualify for Series 2 of Robot Wars.

Design[]

JackBot was a robot made out of steel and was armed with a "aqua-jack" lifter which was used my medical professions to lift patients.

Etymology[]

The name JackBot referred to the weaponry of the robot, which was called "aqua-jacks", taking the title "Jack" and combining it with the word "robot".

Qualification[]

JackBot was more or less complete by the time it attended the rehearsals for the Second Wars. Here it demonstrated its lifters which was the robot's selling point.^[1]. Ultimately it did not appear in Series 2.
