- "The name Jeff originated back in the Stone Age… well… Erm… not exactly. About a year ago a tape came with the Independent on Sunday. On this tape had a load of stand up comedians on it Who were rather good. One of they're jokes was related to the pentagon and they made comments about how in films they always hack into the pentagon so easily. He also commented on how they always seem to know the password to the pentagon computer. They know that it's Jeff because the person who wrote that programme was called: Jeff-jefty-jeff. Born on the first of Jeff 19-JEFFty-jeff."

Jeff was a competitor which was intended to enter the fourth series of Robot Wars. Although it reached the design stage[2] and its chassis was built with four body panels were fitted, it is unknown whether the robot was completed in time. Needless to say, it failed to qualify for Series 4.
