Lateral Thought was a six-wheel invertible robot that competed exclusively in the Reserve Rumble of Series 2 of Robot Wars. It was armed with spikes and entered by students from the University of Glamorgan. It lost its only battle when it was pitted by Shunt.

Robot History

Series 2

Having failed to qualify for the main competition, Lateral Thought fought against Malice, Bumblebot, Forklift & Jim Struts in the Reserve Rumble in the Grudge Match Special. It immediately got stuck in the PPZ and was attacked by Dead Metal and Shunt, who punctured a hole in the armour with his axe. The house robots continued to attack and Shunt eventually pushed it into the pit, eliminating it from the battle.
