Leveler 2 was a basic yellow wedge shaped robot with a steel tube frame armoured in alloy and polycarbonate that competed in Series 7 of Robot Wars. It's weapon was a narrow red flipper on the wedge, the robot was fast, maneuverable and strong. Leveler 2 managed to get to the second round of its heat, but the team's inexperience showed here as it was beaten there by the reigning champion Tornado after it drove down the pit.
Since Robot Wars, Leveler 2 has been rebuilt and its flipper now resembles that of Bigger Brother and Roobarb. It has also been painted red and black and has been renamed Leveller 2 Mk 4. Leveller 2 Mk 4 robot still competes in the Roaming Robots circuit.
Robot History
Series 7
Thunderpants broke down before entering the arena, leaving the other three machines to compete for two places in Round 2. In Leveler 2's first battle, it was flipped over by Barber-Ous 2'n A Bit after it came into to contact with its spinning weapon. Leveler 2 self-righted easily though. It was then flipped again and self-righted again. Barber-Ous 2'n A Bit then broke down and was lifted up by Mr. Psycho. Meanwhile Tetanus Booster rammed into Leveler 2 with its spinning drum weapon which broke Leveler 2's rear armour, but Leveler 2 had already qualified. In the next round Leveler 2 had an unlucky draw against reigning champion Tornado. However Leveler 2 managed to flip Tornado, rendering Tornado's shovel weapon rendered useless, but Tornado then pushed Leveler 2 around the arena and into the arena walls with a lot of force. Leveler 2 still came back at Tornado and flipped it again, but Tornado still used its superior pushing power on Leveler 2. As the yellow wedge fled, it drove down the open pit, eliminating itself from the competition.
