The name Locutus is derived from Captain Jean-Luc Picard's Borg personality in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Design[edit | edit source]
Locutus was fundamentally the same robot as its Series 4 successor Scorpion, making it a two-wheel driven robot equipped with a chainsaw weapon at the front, alongside two horizontal cutting discs near ground level.
The front of the robot bore a message reading "Assimilate this".
Qualification[edit | edit source]
Like all Series 3 competitors, Locutus attempted to qualify for The Third Wars by attending the auditioning process, featuring an obstacle course. For unknown reasons, Locutus was not selected to compete in the series, much unlike its successor Scorpion which was selected for Series 4 on appearance alone.
