Matilda was one of the original four house robots, and appeared in every broadcast series of Robot Wars. She was armed with a pair of front lifting tusks and a large rear flywheel, which replaced the chainsaw seen in the first four UK series. Along with all other House Robots of Series 5, barring Refbot, Matilda appears in the Game Boy Advance release of Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction.
Appearance and ArmamentEdit
Matilda and the other four House Robots made their fourth video game appearance in this game. The Game Boy Advance version of the game differed greatly from the PC and Xbox releases, so much that it could essentially be considered a completely different game.
Matilda's appearance in this game is very different from her appearance in real life. She is more rounded and overall smaller than in real life, and her colour is more white than the purple Matilda sported in real life. Despite the differences, Matilda's weapons are the same as in real life; front lifting tusks and an immensely powerful rear flywheel.
Although Matilda is susceptible to flipping and ramming, she is still formidable as an opponent, due to her massively powerful flywheel, two or three direct hits can immobilise a robot at full strength.
Differences from Real LifeEdit
- Matilda is smaller and more rounded.
- The tusks are static.
- In real life, Matilda was a purple colour, whereas in the game she is white.
