- "One wrong move is all it takes, you don't want to get caught by the Nee Naw."
- — Jonathan Pearce's in-game commentary
Nee Naw is a fictional competitor robot which is featured in the video game Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction. Nee Naw is a square wedge shaped robot with two carbon cutting discs and four spikes, two either side of each disc. It cannot self-right. It is a blue, police themed robot with police lights and car spotlights. Nee Naw is one of the few fictional robots in the game with its own custom armour; its kevlar armour has its own blue paintjob. "Nee Naw" is onomatopoeia for the sound of a police siren.
Nee Naw is available to purchase from the very start of Competition mode at a rather high price of 7980 credits.
Using Nee NawEdit
It is quite easy to win a battle with Nee Naw due to its powerful weaponry. You are best ripping your opposition to shreds with the two carbon cutting discs. These work well and can even damage titanium armour after a while. Nee Naw also has good pushing power and the combination of the spikes, cutting discs and the body shape mean that it is good at getting in underneath other robots, ideal for pushing your opponent into the pit. But you need to avoid flippers as Nee Naw has no srimech.
Against Nee NawEdit
The best and easiest tactic against Nee Naw is to flip it over, as it has no srimech. If your robot does not have a flipper then your best bet is to try to push Nee Naw around from the sides, as it is more easily pushed from the side, and you will suffer less damage. However, you may find that you ride up on the robot's sides, due to the wheels being on the outside. Also you will need to avoid its powerful weaponry at the front and the rear.
