Main Event[]

As the recently-crowned Nickelodeon US Champion, Tyranabot was given the Challenge Belt to defend from potential challengers. Loanerbot Tut Tut - driven by Team Juggerbot's Nancy Rodriquez - was selected as the first 'upstart'. The format worked identically to the event held across both series of Robot Wars Extreme; three successful defenses of the belt would allow the wielding team to keep it for themselves.

Mayhem: Rosie the Riveter 2 vs Propeller-Head vs Xylon[]

All three competitors collide, as Rosie the Riveter 2 tries to push Propeller-Head on top of Xylon

The first of three melee battles featuring three robots each, similar to the identically-named events from Robot Wars Extreme: Series 1. As with the UK equivalents, only one robot would emerge victorious, qualifying for the Ultimate Mayhem aired in Episode 5.

All three robots engaged in a close and highly-aggressive battle, with Rosie the Riveter 2 pushing and almost turning Propeller-Head over at one point. Propeller-Head responded by inflicting damaging blows to both of its opponents, winning the subsequent Judges' decision and qualifying for the Ultimate Mayhem.

Winner: Propeller-Head

Vengeance: Bunny Attack vs Hoot[]

"Well, I don't know about the chicken or the egg thing, but who's gonna come first here? The bunny or the bird?"
Stefan Frank

Though both robots featured an obvious animal theme - and their teams competed in the Annihilator - no reasoning behind this grudge match was established onscreen. Rather, their respective team members simply described their weaponry during Vivianne Collins' interviews, though Andrew Chester confidently asserted that Bunny Attack would emerge victorious.

"As far as the fate of Hoot, we don't give a hoot!"

HammerRippedOff

Sir K snaps Bunny Attack's hammer in two

In the initial moments, Bunny Attack weathered hits from Hoot's spinning arms, while ramming and gently tapping the loanerbot with its 8lbs sledgehammer. Sir K interfered by leaving his CPZ and separating both competitors, while Bunny Attack was in the process of pushing Hoot across the arena. Bunny Attack, despite getting stuck on the Steam Pit, caused Hoot to break its own weapon as it received a side-on blow, before resuming its earlier attacks. Further interference from Sir K saw Bunny Attack's hammer being snapped in half, and both competitors being pitted by the House Robot after 'Cease' had been called.

With both competitors surviving the full duration anyway, Dave Aizer conducted an audience vote in place of the usual Judges' decision. Bunny Attack received the louder applause of the pair, winning the Vengeance battle on this basis.

Winner: Bunny Attack

Battle of the Spinners: Ninjitsu vs Destructive Criticism[]

Another Vengeance-type battle, held to determine which of the Extreme Warriors Season 2 competitors had the best spinning weapon.

Ninjitsu vs. Destructive Criticism (1)

Destructive Criticism loses its weapon chain mid-match

Ninjitsu started by attacking the left side of Destructive Criticism, whose own disc did not start rotating immediately. Both robots exchanged damaging hits, with Ninjitsu also using its rear wedge plate to push Destructive Criticism back. As the match went on, the weapon chains/belts for both spinners broke and were discarded, leaving both robots to resort to ramming attacks. Though three of its four wheels were bent and buckled, Destructive Criticism shoved Ninjitsu into the Disc of Doom trigger, the latter hitting the hazard just before 'Cease' was called.

Following a close and evenly-fought fight, the Judges' decision ruled in favor of Ninjitsu, to the surprise of Evan White and Team Katana.

Winner: Ninjitsu

Challenge Belt: Tyranabot vs Tut Tut[]

Tut Tut takes damage from Dead Metal (right), despite a strong start against Tyranabot

Though starting this battle as the 'underdog', Tut Tut dominated the early stages by axing and pushing Tyranabot back across the arena, while dodging the latter's attempts to grab it. After both machines locked together following the second televised axe attack, Ivan Loftis' machine responded by pushing Tut Tut into Dead Metal, who carved into the pyramid-shaped loanerbot while outside his CPZ.

Tut Tut retracted its axe, only to block, strike and push Tyranabot against the wall. These attacks appeared to immobilize Tyranabot completely, before it sustained further damage from Dead Metal and was counted out. While Tut Tut engaged in a further tussle with Dead Metal, Shunt pushed the defeated US Champion onto the Floor Flipper, where it was flung across the arena, then down the opened Pit.

"And it looks to me like the Challenge Belt's been won by the challenger - Nancy Rodriquez! As we look at Tyranabot go down one more time, Tut Tut is the champion!"
— Stefan Frank announces the first Challenge Belt outcome, over replays of Tyranabot's pitting

Winner: Tut Tut
