Obleus was a Heavyweight robot which would have appeared in the 1995 US Robot Wars competition. However, Obelus was one of several robots which for whatever reason never made it into the arena, having dropped out for unknown reasons.[1] Obelus was entered by Philip T. Putman who entered the 1994 Competition with Bloodletter and in the 1996 Competition with Bloodletter Jr..

Being a Heavyweight, it can be assumed that Obelus was to battle in the 1995 Heavyweight Face-Off championship. Despite being present in entry lists reproduced by the Team Minus Zero website, however, it dropped out for unknown reasons.[1]
