Papercut was a heavyweight robot designed by Team Psycho with the intention of competing in Series 3 of Robot Wars[1].
Design[]
Papercut's design is largely unknown as interestingly, the robot is not mentioned in any capacity on the team's website.[2] Due to this, it is likely that Papercut may never have been finished in time for Series 3 qualifiers.
Its successor, PC2000, was described as a clusterbot, however no other information is available.
Etymology[]
A paper cut occurs when a thin material slices a person's skin, often causing pain and a visible wound. The robot's name suggests it may have used a blade of some description for weaponry, though this is unconfirmed.
PC2000 likely stands for "Paper Cut 2000", with the turn of the new millenium being the subject of Series 4 competitors such as Medusa 2000 and Millennium Bug.

Trivia[]
- As well as Papercut and PC2000, Team Psycho built a featherweight robot called KBOT. As with their other builds however, no images exist of this robot.
- Had it competed, PC2000 may have been the first televised clusterbot on Robot Wars, as Gemini debuted in the sixth heat of Series 4.
