Phoenix was a robot slated to compete in German Robot Wars under Team HighVoltage[1]. However for unknown reasons, it withdrew some time prior to the televised fights. Team HighVoltage had previously competed on Robot Wars with Flensburger Power.
Having previously competed in Robot Wars Extreme with Flensburger Power, Team HighVoltage applied to compete in the German series of Robot Wars in 2002 with Phoenix. Although Phoenix was accepted and included among the list of competing teams[2], it ultimately did not appear on the show for unknown reasons.
This machine was not the first or last robot to enter Robot Wars under the name Phoenix, with a heavyweight robot competing in UK Series 2 and a middleweight robot competing in UK Series 7 all sharing the name Phoenix.
