Propeller-Head is an robot that competed in Season 2 of Robot Wars: Extreme Warriors, reaching the Grand Final before losing to Falcon Mark 2. Propeller-Head made its only video game appearance was in the Game Boy Advance version of Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction, and is unlocked when the player beats the Gold level of Sumo Bash.
Appearance and ArmamentEdit
Propeller-Head resembles its real life counterpart; a box shaped robot armed with an overhead spinning blade.
Propeller-Head's weapon takes a few seconds to get up to speed, so it is a good idea to briefly retreat from opponents during attacks. The robot can self right, but is not very durable and can break down after several flips. Propeller-Head also has decent pushing power, so the player can resort to drawing opponents near the pit and pushing them in. Due to its low speed, it can be difficult for Propeller-Head to run away from flipping weapons, although spinning on the spot can negate their effectiveness.
Propeller-Head's blade is very powerful, and can cause a great amount of damage with a few hits. After hitting it for the first time, pressurizing Propeller-Head effectively can prevent its blade from getting up to speed again. Propeller-Head has low durability, so several flips and constant attacks from a disc or saw will immobilise it.
Differences from Real LifeEdit
- Propeller-Head can self right in the game.
- Propeller-Head is quite slow compared to its real life counterpart.
- Propeller-Head's front panel is red, although this may exist to tell the player which way Propeller-Head is facing when viewed through certain camera angles.
- In some rare occasions, hitting an opponent with the bar up to full speed can result in a sudden recoil that sends both Propeller-Head and the opposing robot flying into the opposite ends of the arena, inflicting major damage to both robots.
