The team also reached the Heat Final of the US Championship with Darkness.

Revenge was a modification of the team's BattleBots entry License To Kill and was based off a scorpion. Its weapon was a spiked spinning drum at the front, and the robot could also function as a thwackbot, having a spiked tail at the rear. It was driven by two highly exposed tyres, which eventually proved to be its downfall.

Robot History[]

Season 2[]

In the Annihilator, Revenge was drawn against Brute, Cyclone, Hyperactive, Thor's Hammer and The Termite. It was relatively passive in the first round, but attempted to attack Hyperactive and Brute. Thor's Hammer had been defeated by Hyperactive and Cyclone in the meantime. After this occurred, Brute overturned Revenge, and pushed it into Cyclone, which cut through Revenge's weapon. Revenge was left attached to Cyclone at the end of the battle.

In the second round, Revenge was able to push The Termite and Hyperactive, but became stuck on the latter's weapon, which had been removed from the robot, lying on the arena floor. When Revenge freed itself, Cyclone had already defeated Hyperactive, allowing Revenge to qualify for the third round.

Revenge fought very passively in the third round, staying out of the way and spinning on the spot. It eventually chose to drive into the side of Cyclone, pushing it. Revenge then spent a long time away from its opponents, only attacking Cyclone again after the House Robots had begun attacking The Termite. Revenge sustained an attack from Brute, and then focused on driving into Cyclone, while Brute pitted The Termite, again giving Revenge entry to the next round.

Cyclone vs. Brute vs. Revenge

Cyclone strikes Revenge during the fourth round.

Revenge was comparatively active at the start of the fourth round, using a sit-and-spin tactic to strike Cyclone's weapon twice. On a third rotation, however, Cyclone flung it upwards. Revenge spun on the spot again, hitting the body of Cyclone, but Cyclone targeted the exposed wheels of Revenge, immobilising it. The defeated Revenge was then attacked by Cyclone, Brute, Sgt. Bash and Dead Metal. Revenge was flipped by the Floor Flipper, and pushed into the Pit, leaving Revenge in the third place position of the Annihilator.

License to Kill in BattleBots

Revenge competed in BattleBots as License to Kill, although it did not pick up a combat win. License to Kill did not use Revenge's spinning drum, instead using two front spikes at the front. In Season 3.0, it lost to Bacchus via KO, and lost to Stealth Terminator on a 41-4 Judges' decision in Season 4.0.
