Refbot activated the pit which Cassius Chrome drove over and nearly fell down. Helpless, Cassius Chrome was then flipped by Gravity and the pit descended. The pit was raised to bring Cassius Chrome back into the battle while Gravity tried to attack the Refbot. Behemoth's weaponry was proving less than effective against Mr. Psycho who reversed into it and rammed it into a corner patrol zone. Gravity came to help but was hit by Mr. Psycho's hammer repeatedly leaving it immobilised. Cassius Chrome had revived and spun round, hitting Behemoth and damaging its scoop. Behemoth returned to attacking Mr. Psycho with its axe causing minor damage before snapping off. Behemoth sped away across the arena but the arena flipper activated immediately when Behemoth drove over it, turning it on its side. Mr. Psycho hit Behemoth again with its hammer and Behemoth tried to use the immobile but still actively armed Gravity as a weapon. However, Cassius Chrome pushed Gravity aside, as Mr. Psycho seemed to have broken down. This left Cassius Chrome and Behemoth still mobile at the end. The audience decided the winner of the battle, with boos going up for the house robots, and cheers going up for the competitors.

Revision as of 18:54, 3 June 2013

The House Robot Rebellion of Robot Wars: The Seventh Wars was the second UK House Robot Rebellion, which was broadcast during Robot Wars: The Seventh Wars. The Rebellion saw Dutch machine and series semi-finalist Gravity, along with number 10 seed for the main competition Behemoth take on the three newest house robots.

  • The battle was aired part of the way through the episode of the Annihilator for the series.
  • It was one of the few battles in the UK series to be decided by the reaction of the audience.
  • It was the only House Robot Rebellion in any series where all of the competitor robots were declared the winners.
  • Gravity became the only robot ever to flip Growler and Cassius Chrome in this battle.
  • Interestingly, if the normal combat rules applied, Behemoth technically would be the only one still mobile as Cassius Chrome had already been flipped and immobilised for more than 30 seconds.
  • Bigger Brother was originally due to take part in the battle, but was replaced with Gravity after helping other competitors to immobilise Shunt and Cassius Chrome in the All Stars tournament.
  • The House Robot Rebellion was the last fight to be held in the Robot Wars Arena. It was filmed after the other battles due to the producers not wanting the House Robots to be too damaged to take part in other battles.
