Robot Wars Wiki operates under policies, which are the law of our online community. This page sets out the full list of policies in operation under the Wiki.
General[]
- Robot Wars Wiki:Simplified ruleset - The Simplified Ruleset is inspired by Wikipedia. It contains the basic do's and don'ts of Wikia conduct. Simple things like be civil, use the talk page, and sign your posts.
- Robot Wars Wiki:No Personal Attacks - Don't ever make it personal with other users.
- Robot Wars Wiki:Reverting - For those with rollback powers, don't be too liberal. Its designed to fight vandalism, not remove anything you don't like. If there's even a slight need to explain, use the undo feature and type an edit summary.
- Robot Wars Wiki:Blocking Policy - Admins have the power to block users and IP addresses for breach of policy, vandalism, breach of copyright or spoilers (see below).
- Robot Wars Wiki:Images - Images should be clear, properly named and not duplicates.
- Personal images - Users (not IP addresses) are permitted to upload one personal image and one avatar for use on their personal pages only.
- Robot Wars Wiki:One Account, One Person - No using multiple accounts.
- Robot Wars Wiki:We are Equal - No one is more important than anyone else. Don't feel that you can't contribute to a talk page discussion because it's your first day. We encourage you to feel a part of things.
- However, We are Equal is subject to the two following policies.
- Robot Wars Wiki:Anonymous Users - because IP addresses change based on location, anonymous users cannot vote in Wikia actions, such as page formats, merges and deletions.

Robot Wars Wiki Specific[]
In the mainspace[]
- Robot Wars Wiki:Spoilers - Pre-air spoilers are cause for an immediate ban. Users are required to be cautious of post-air spoilers.
- Robot Wars Wiki:Subjective Beliefs - Users are to write at arm's length, with predispositions towards or against particular robots to be left for your own userspace.
- Robot Wars Wiki:Canon - The TV show is canon, and as such events as televised are deemed to be the true and correct versions of events, unless specifically contradicted.
- Robot Wars Wiki:Content from Social Media - Users are advised to take extra caution when adding information from social media sites, out of courtesy to roboteers and teams present on those platforms.
Outside the mainspace[]
- Robot Wars Wiki:Arena Forums - The Robot Wars Wiki also operates as a fan community, with a number of fantasy tournaments and quizzes. Users must achieve 300 edits in the mainspace, or receive permission from an admin to participate.
- Robot Wars Wiki:Awards - Admins have discretion to distribute awards to users for outstanding work.
- Robot Wars Wiki:Badges - Admins have discretion to distribute badges to users for outstanding work on particular articles.
- Robot Wars Wiki:Fantasy Series and Editorials - Users are permitted to create editorials, opinion pieces and fantasy series, provided they fit the following guidelines.
