Rosie the Riveter was an American competitor robot that fought in both seasons of Robot Wars: Extreme Warriors and Nickelodeon Robot Wars, built by Team Juggerbot. After competing in a variety of events during the first season with mixed success, Rosie the Riveter 2 reached the Grand Final of the US Championship during Season 2, defeating Darkness in its Heat Final before falling to the eventual champion Panzer Mk 4 in the eliminators. Rosie the Riveter 2 lost both of its fights in Nickelodeon Robot Wars on extremely close Judges' decisions. Building upon its name, Rosie the Riveter was a four-wheel drive, box-shaped robot designed to resemble a World War II fighter plane. It was mainly painted yellow, blue and white with various fighter plane-inspired decals, and in the first season of Extreme Warriors featured an iron battering ram as its weapon, driven by wheelchair motors. In Season 2 and Nickelodeon Robot Wars, it was upgraded to feature a front wedge as well as a belt-driven 24V circular saw and new 36V electric motors. The robot also featured a host of novelty fighter plane-themed attachments which were removed before its battles, including a pair of wings fixed to its sides, and a miniature cockpit, pilot and tailfin attached to its top panel.
