Sater in the pits

Sater was a yellow steep plough-shaped robot, equipped with a flipping arm with a small rear wedge. It was based on a Satyr, with plastic horns and broom bristles for hair. Its high-voltage motors and light weight made it one of the fastest robots in Dutch Robot Wars; so fast that it equipped with brakes. Sater's flipper was never seen in action, instead relying on its brute force to win fights.

Robot History

Dutch Series 1

In the first round, Sater was pushed by NEAT Machine. It looked to be inactive, but after Refbot separated it from NEAT Machine, it regained mobility. NEAT Machine had broken down though, so it was counted out.

In Round 2, Sater faced Pathetica. Sater was quick, and avoided Pathetica's axe blows until Pathetica broke down and was counted out.

Sater vs Sniper

In the Heat Final, Sater met Sniper. This match was largely touch-and-go, with neither robot really going on the offensive. When Sater collided with Sniper, Sniper attempted to flip it, but missed. Sater drove onto the flame pit, and Sniper blocked it from escaping, causing its bristles to catch on fire. However, the match went to a jury's decision, which was in favour of Sater due to its aggression throughout.

Through to the Grand Final, Sater faced Botwork and Bamm Bamm. It used its speed to avoid its two opponents, but when it slammed into Botwork's spinning disc, its flipper began to bend. Sater pushed Bamm Bamm around, only to be targeted by Botwork, who began to strip its armour away and bend its flipper even further sideways. Time ran out, and the match went to the jury, who ruled that Sater was out.
