Scorpion was a middleweight robot that appeared exclusively in Series 2 of Robot Wars. Competing solely in the Middleweight Championship, it lost the latter to Hard Cheese after breaking down.
Although Scorpion participated in the Middleweight rumble which would be showcased as part of the end-of-series episode The Grudge Matches, Scorpion was ultimately not included in the very brief highlights of the fight shown on television.
Robot History[]
Series 2[]
- "In the middleweight category it was outclassed by the opposition fairly early on. Scorpion ended up on fire as a result of a clash with Dead Metal and the flame pit."
- — Team Tiger Shark[1]
Scorpion fought in the Middleweight Championship, part of which was shown as part of the Grudge Matches special. It fought Hard Cheese, Doodlebug and Series 1 competitor Wharthog, and steadily made its way into the middle of the arena as the battle began. However, Scorpion was easily outmatched by its opponents who early on managed to knock Scorpion out. After this, Scorpion was attacked by Dead Metal who pushed Scorpion onto the flame pit where it managed to catch fire. Scorpion would lose the championship to Hard Cheese, and went unincluded in the televised highlights of the battle.
