Sergeant Bash RW- ED

Sergeant Bash in Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction (PC/Xbox).

"Here's Sergeant Bash!"
Jonathan Pearce's in-game commentary

Sergeant Bash (often known as Bash or The Sergeant) was one of the original four House Robots of Robot Wars. It was designed to look like a military vehicle, with its green army colours and flamethrower turret weapon. It is also armed with a hydraulic claw at the front, and a steam-driven saw at the rear. Sergeant Bash appears in Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction (PC/Xbox) in addition to the other four Robot Wars video games.

In this game, it is possible to play as Sergeant Bash and the other house robots, by entering a cheat code.

Appearance and ArmamentEdit

Sergeant Bash and the other four early House Robots made their fifth and final video game appearance during this game. The game was the only game based on Robot Wars Extreme: Series 1. Sergeant Bash's appearance remains unchanged from the previous Robot Wars console game release, Robot Wars: Arenas of Destruction. He again sports the smaller style hydraulic claw, based upon the claw from earlier series (although by this time, the claw was replaced with a larger alternative). The House Robots in this game could break the rules for the first time, perhaps to show off the fact that Refbot was in a game for the first time. They would often come out of their CPZs and attack competitor robots, which would lead to them receiving a yellow card, and eventually a red card after breaking the rules for a second time.

Functions within gameEdit

Sergeant Bash would act as one of 4 house robots, on particular arenas, for most of the events and battle types.

In this game, Sergeant Bash is capable of moving at a much greater speed than it could in real life, coupling this with the fact that the house robots often came out of their CPZs in-game, Sergeant Bash could often decide battles by shoving passing robots into the pit, assuming the player is fighting on the TV Studio, and that the pit is open. This is due to the fact that Sergeant Bash patrols the CPZ right by the pit on the TV Studio.
