Shuriken was a robot from Team Katana that was named after the Shuriken (or Throwing Star)- a small, multi-bladed throwing weapon from Japan known for its association with Ninjas. The robot itself was invertible, and featured two horizontal cutting discs, similarly to Mean Streak and Diabolus, but it was not very durable. The team also owned Ninjitsu in Season 2 and Nickelodeon Robot Wars, and drove loanerbot The Green Mouse as a result of damage to Shuriken.
Team Katana also entered BattleBots with the Middleweight Musashi which was very similar in design to Shuriken.
Robot History
Season 1
Shuriken inverted.
Shuriken faced Red Virus, $6 Million Mouse, Medusa Oblongata, Brute and Falcon in the US Championship. It hit the Mouse, but stopped spinning, and was stuck to Falcon. It had broken down as a result, and was placed on the floor flipper by Shunt, where its weapons broke. Brute won the battle. Shuriken was too badly damaged to continue competing, and the team drove The Green Mouse for the rest of the tournament.
