Silver Blade was a heavyweight robot built with the intention of applying for Series 3 of Robot Wars. It is currently unknown whether the team attempted to qualify for any other series. Notably, the team members are only near adolescence.
Design[]
The robot is described by the team as triangular in shape, with both the chassis and armour made from mild steel. Silver Blade featured a horizontally-mounted circular saw powered by a strimmer engine.
The team's website talks about additional weaponry in the form of spinning flails and a blowtorch, though the latter would have been outlawed by build rules and it is unknown whether the team pursued either option further.[1]
Unfortunately no images exist of Silver Blade, and the team's website does not detail any further attempts to qualify for the show.
