I have some far, far better pictures of Aeolus than the one in the article, but due to Wikia being what scientists refer to as 'complete arse', I can't figure out how to upload them - can anyone advise me how?
They are on the RW101 forum somewhere, I'm just busy researching axe mechanisms at the moment and can't locate the thread.
- Head to Special:Upload. Once you're on there, click the Browse button, choose your image, give it a name, then click Upload File at the bottom. Thanks in advance for the images. ToastUltimatum 17:48, February 22, 2013 (UTC)
- By the way, the wiki currently uses the spelling "Combat Ant" for the robot you spelled as CombatANT. If you happen to have inside information on Combat Ant, and that is the true spelling, let us know. ToastUltimatum 17:56, February 22, 2013 (UTC)
Peter's used all sorts of spellings at various points - it's spelled on his website (http://www.antweightwars.co.uk/) as Combatant, it's been written on the robots before as CombatANT, and to be completely honest I have never seen it written as 'Combat Ant' except on this wiki. I could ask when I next see him but unfortunately I'm in Canada at the moment...
Combatant/ANT/ant that combats has gone through a lot of changes - most recently I think it's been a horizontal spinner similarly to Variant, used when Peter was testing out some new recievers. Aeolus as far as I am aware is still in his garage - I keep meaning to ask more about it as I'm interested in how he did the tracks!
Got the picture online and put it in the article, somehow - hopefully that's better than what was there and shows the weapon a bit clearer. (I do have one of the insides but that's for my personal folder of robot component pornography...) The Hurting (talk) 19:25, February 22, 2013 (UTC)
P.S. Tried to sign up for an account but my username was taken - as the chances of someone else being called joey_picus are minute, I half suspect that I registered for this at some point and then completely forgot. Will check my email...
