Ally Gator vs Corporal Punishment was a poorly edited battle

A discussion from Tinweb provides evidence that Ally Gator vs Corporal Punishment was not really a dull battle, just one made to look dull by poor editing. The two machines were actually successfully split up, enabling around 2-3 minutes of additional fighting according to Peter Duncanson of Agent Orange.

He mentions that Corporal Punishment was actually very agile and aggressive, achieving some decent attacks and making a screeching sound whenever it turned. They may have been an appeal against the result according to Duncanson, but nothing came of it. Yet, this 2-3 minutes was completely scrapped, and no unedited battle came about because of the strict "no recording" policy the producers had at the time.
