Talk: Mobot

Mo Farah

Is it worth mentioning Mo Farrah's "Mo-Bot" in the article? In the trivia section of course. Datovidny (talk) 20:43, September 18, 2012 (UTC)

The two problems I have are that it doesn't predate Mobot the robot, and it's not an original pose - rather an adaptation of the the M symbol from the YMCA song. RA2; aka Resetti's Replicas. (My Talk) 20:55, September 18, 2012 (UTC)

I personally believe the coincidence to be strong enough that Mo Farah's victory pose should be mentioned in the trivia. TOAST, FLIPPER 13:20, January 10, 2018 (UTC)

I disagree, as I simply don't think it's got enough relevance to this article. Mobot the robot and Farah's 'Mobot' share nothing in common other than name. If we implemented something like this, we'd have to do the same with other robots that coincidentally share their name with something/someone for consistency. Raz3r(talk) 15:11, January 10, 2018 (UTC)
