Junkyard Queen[]

Any info on Junkyard Queen causing Psycho to topple over? It was mentioned on a forum. Matt(Talk) 20:11, August 27, 2011 (UTC)

The most likely story is the he was carrying her in his claw and somehow got unbalanced. Junkyard Queen's weapons are two drills - I can't conceive how she could actively tip him over like Firestorm did. RA2; aka Resetti's Replicas. (My Talk) 00:33, August 28, 2011 (UTC)

Mr-dot- Psycho[]

Can I just make a public announcement, Mr. Psycho has a full stop after the Mr, so if anyone sees it without the dot, could they change it please. It is all over the wiki, so lets get everyone in the know. Jimlaad43(talk) 18:03, November 22, 2013 (UTC)

Nice work Sam, keep it going! Jimlaad43(talk) 19:24, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
I think I got them all. Sam (BAZINGA) 19:44, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
There'll be some you've missed. Jimlaad43(talk) 20:05, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
Found some I missed, fixed them. I'm going to continue checking for ones I missed. Sam (BAZINGA) 20:17, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
You'll notice your edit count has rocketed up. My pet peeve is lacks of Hyphens in robots like Iron-Awe and Kan-Opener, so I have trawled through the pages many times fixing them. Jimlaad43(talk) 20:32, November 22, 2013 (UTC)

Out of curiosity, why do we use a full stop after the 'Mr'? Is it from something official? UK conventions don't use full stops after 'Mr', 'Mrs' etc. Christophee (talk) 21:27, November 22, 2013 (UTC)

It was always used in publications and on the stats board. After Sam's work though, I wouldn't swap it back. Jimlaad43(talk) 21:47, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
All the pages on the BattleBots wiki which start with Mr. or Dr. has a full stop after the Mr and Dr. As for this wiki, Doctor Fist is the exempt as it doesn't shorten Doctor to Dr., but Psycho has had Mister shortened. Sam (BAZINGA) 21:57, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
I must admit, Misters Nasty and Punch don't have the dot. Jimlaad43(talk) 22:19, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
Their names don't have a dot on the team websites but Mr. Psycho has had the dot on all pieces of merchandise featuring his image or name. Sam (BAZINGA) 22:34, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
If true, conversation=over. Thanks for trawling through the pages though. Jimlaad43(talk) 23:09, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
Your welcome Jim, it is nice to be helpful. Sam (BAZINGA) 00:01, November 23, 2013 (UTC)
I won't dispute the official name of Mr. Psycho, but the UK convention for 'Mr' is not to have a full stop. BattleBots is American so that's not a good example to use as US convention is to use the full stop. Christophee (talk) 15:29, November 23, 2013 (UTC)
